  • Publication number: 20240075743
Abstract: A water-based maintenance liquid is used for a recording apparatus, the recording apparatus is an apparatus to perform recording by ejecting at least two types of water-based ink compositions from an ink jet head, the ink jet head has a nozzle surface in which nozzles to eject the water-based ink compositions are formed, the nozzles are formed in the nozzle surface respectively for the at least two types of water-based ink compositions, the maintenance liquid is used to moisturize the nozzle surface by being supplied to a cap portion which covers the nozzle surface and includes water and a moisturizing agent component which contains at least one type of moisturizing agent, the moisturizing agent component is a water-soluble organic compound, and a content A (percent by mass) of the moisturizing agent component with respect to a total mass of the moisturizing agent component and the water satisfies a predetermined equation.

  • Publication number: 20240066874
Abstract: A maintenance liquid is used to maintain an ink jet head of a printing apparatus configured to eject an ink for printing from the ink jet head. The maintenance liquid is aqueous and subject to detection by a conductivity-based sensor. The maintenance liquid includes at least one selected from the group consisting of inorganic alkalis and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid compounds and at least one selected from the group consisting of organic acids and organic alkalis. The maintenance liquid has an electrical conductivity of 100 ?S/cm or more and a pH of 6.0 to 11.

  • Publication number: 20230294405
Abstract: A recording method comprises a discharging step of discharging a first ink and a second ink from a line head having a length equal to or longer than a recording width of a recording medium and allowing the inks to adhere to the recording medium, wherein the line head includes a plurality of unit heads aligned in the recording width direction of the recording medium and includes portions having different inter-nozzle distances in the scanning direction of a first nozzle that discharges the first ink and a second nozzle that discharges the second ink, and the first ink and the second ink contain color materials and inorganic oxide particles, and the color materials have compositions different from each other.

  • Publication number: 20230295451
Abstract: A recording method includes a supply step of supplying an ink composition from an ink chamber to an ink jet head and an adhesion step of discharging the ink composition from the ink jet head and allowing the composition to adhere to a recording medium. The ink chamber receives supply of the ink composition from the ink container and has a capacity of 40 mL or more. The ink composition is an aqueous ink composition containing a pigment and an inorganic oxide particle having a specific gravity equal to or higher than that of the pigment.

  • Patent number: 8619196
Abstract: In a channel search performed first after the installation of a broadcast receiver, a switch is switched to each of an attenuator side and an amplifier side to acquire reception state information (AGC, BER, C/N). The broadcast receiver is provided with a counter for counting the number of receivable channels on each of the amplifier and the attenuator. If image/voice can be normally received over the corresponding channel is determined based on the reception state information from reception state information detecting means. If it is determined that image/voice can be normally received, the counter of the attenuator side or the amplifier side is incremented by one. Upon termination of the channel search, the two counters are compared and the switch is fixed to the side on which more channels can be normally received. Accordingly, a wide range of signal power levels can be received in excellent condition.

  • Publication number: 20100289967
Abstract: In a channel search performed first after the installation of a broadcast receiver, a switch is switched to each of an attenuator ATT 5 side and an amplifier Amp 7 side to acquire reception state information (AGC, BER, C/N). The broadcast receiver is provided with a counter 32a for counting the number of receivable channels on each of the amplifier Amp 7 and the attenuator ATT 5. If image/voice can be normally received over the corresponding channel is determined based on the reception state information from reception state information detecting means 31. If it is determined that image/voice can be normally received, the counter of the attenuator side or the amplifier side is incremented by one. Upon termination of the channel search, the two counters are compared and the switch is fixed to the side on which more channels can be normally received. Accordingly, a wide range of signal power levels (from low power to high power) can be received in excellent condition.
