Patent number: 11103977Abstract: A clamping device has a clamp arm pivotally housed inside a body, and a locating section for positioning workpieces is provided on an upper portion of the body. The locating section is formed with a slit hole which enables a claw portion of the clamp arm to protrude outside, and is provided inside with a shutter facing the slit hole and being movable. The claw portion of the clamp arm is inserted through a clamp hole of the shutter. Then, when the clamp arm moves inside the body in the axial direction and rotates, the shutter moves integrally with the clamp arm in the axial direction to cover the slit hole. Thus, the opening portion of the slit hole is suitably covered except that portion occupied by the claw portion so that foreign matter and the like can be prevented from entering the locating section through the slit hole.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2018Date of Patent: August 31, 2021Assignee: SMC CORPORATIONInventors: Mikihito Ishii, Toshikazu Nakajima

Patent number: 10520087Abstract: A cylinder device includes a piston and a piston rod disposed movably, and a movable body in which another end portion of the piston rod is inserted. The piston rod includes a first pin groove that extends along an axial direction and through which a support pin is inserted. The support pin is also inserted through second pin grooves formed in the movable body and having a substantially L-shaped cross section. Further, a link pin is inserted through a pin hole on the other end portion of the piston rod. The link pin is inserted through third pin grooves in the movable body which are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the axis of the movable body. In addition, under a moving action of the piston, the movable body is displaced linearly, and thereafter, is rotationally displaced by the link pin moving along the third pin grooves.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2017Date of Patent: December 31, 2019Assignee: SMC CORPORATIONInventors: Mikihito Ishii, Hiroshi Kusaka, Ken Nakajima

Patent number: 6460877Abstract: An airbag including an expansion part accommodating inflow of expansion gas to expand a peripheral wall, and linear joining portions arranged in a region of the expansion part and constituted by joining facing portions of the peripheral wall in a linear manner. The linear joining portions include a linear base, curved portions and swelling portions. Each of the curved portions is connected to the base and curvilinearly extends and bends toward the respective base thereof. The swelling portions are arranged at tip ends of the curved portions to smoothly connect outer peripheral edges thereof to outer peripheral edges of the curved portions. With this airbag, stress concentration is reduced around the swelling portions and the curved portions at the time of development and expansion. Thus, the linear joining portions can be arranged without causing breakage of the peripheral wall during development and expansion, and reduction in volume and expansion area held down as much as possible.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2001Date of Patent: October 8, 2002Assignee: Toyoda Goseki Co., Ltd.Inventors: Choko Tanabe, Eisiti Nakamura, Toshinori Tanase, Takashi Yamamoto, Mikihito Ishii, Yoshinari Takei
