  • Patent number: 7234016
Abstract: To provide an information processing apparatus and the like, in which even when a plurality of other information processing apparatuses are connected on a single serial bus system, a required one of the information processing apparatuses can be rapidly and easily selected and the information from the other information processing apparatuses can be input. A receiver R connected to a single serial bus B together with other nodes comprises a host microcomputer 12 for selectively inputting the input information input from a plurality of input terminals and a main microcomputer 13 for acquiring the specified information for specifying the other nodes connected through the serial bus B and setting one node as an alternative of the host microcomputer 12 in place of one of the plurality of the input terminals.

  • Patent number: 7136948
Abstract: To provide a status display apparatus or the like which can permit the user of a plurality of nodes connected by a serial bus according to the serial bus standard to recognize whether the transmission of the audio information or the like has become possible by the connection between the nodes. A status display apparatus included in a receiver R for transmitting/receiving audio information with a player to display the status of the receiver comprises a system control unit 13 and an indicator 15B which makes inquiry about whether the player P has a configuration for transmitting/receiving the audio information to/from the receiver R and upon confirmation that the player P has the required configuration, displays that the player P has such a configuration.

  • Publication number: 20050220309
Abstract: In a recording unit, a set state table in which various parameters which are required are stored when a sound processing unit performs signal processing for audio data that corresponds to each channel, and a setting screen data are recorded. This setting screen data is linked to the set state table, so that the set state table is altered in accordance with alteration performed on this setting screen. As a result, the parameters that are used when the sound processing unit performs signal processing for audio data are altered.
