  • Patent number: 11937360
Abstract: A high frequency heating apparatus (1A) includes the following components: a first electrode (11) that is flat; a plurality of flat second electrodes (12) that are flat; a high-frequency power supply (20); a matching unit (30); a controller (40); and an electric field regulator (50). The second electrodes (12) are placed opposite to the first electrode (11). The high-frequency power supply (20) applies a high-frequency voltage to the first electrode (11). The matching unit (30) is placed between the first electrode (11) and the high-frequency power supply (20), and is impedance-matched with the high-frequency power supply (20). The controller (40) controls the high-frequency power supply (20). The electric field regulator (50) individually adjusts the electric field strengths in a plurality of regions located between first electrode (11) and the second electrodes (12). This aspect can reduce uneven heating.

  • Publication number: 20240073829
Abstract: An RF energy radiation device of this disclosure comprises: an oscillator; a power amplifier; a radiation element; a detector; and a controller. The oscillator generates an RF signal. The power amplifier amplifies the RF signal to output RF power. The radiation element radiates the RF power. The detector detects progressive wave power. The controller performs an RF power output control using a closed-loop control for setting an output set value of the RF power by a closed-loop and an open-loop control for setting the output set value of the RF power by an open-loop. In a burst operation alternately switching between a period of outputting the RF power and a period of stopping the RF power, the controller changes the RF power output control from the closed-loop control to the open-loop control when a specified condition for change is satisfied during the period of stopping the RF power.

  • Patent number: 4787485
Abstract: A bicycle caliper brake assembly comprising a pair of pivotal calipers respectively having bosses rotatably fitted on a support shaft as interposed between an intermediate flange of the shaft and a double nut adjustably screwed on the shaft, the bosses being axially movable relative to each other on the shaft to assume their respective preassembled and assembled positions, one of the calipers being formed with a projecting portion which engages the other caliper to prevent both calipers from pivoting away from each other more than a predetermined amount when the bosses assume the assembled position but which disengages from the other caliper to allow both calipers to pivot away from each other more than the predetermined amount when the bosses assume the preassembled position, a coil spring system completely enclosed within the bosses for urging the calipers to pivot away from each other when the bosses assume the assembled position, wherein the spring system is maintained in a state for torsional energizatio

  • Patent number: 4718521
Abstract: A bicycle caliper brake assembly having a first caliper having a connecting portion provided with a boss rotatably and axially movably receiving a rotary member. A second caliper includes a connecting portion connected to an outer cable of a double type control cable. A pivotal adjusting lever is provided for rotating the rotary member. A cable retainer is eccentrically mounted on the rotary member and connected to an inner cable of the control cable. The boss is formed at one end face thereof with a first annular row of teeth. The rotary member is formed with a second annular row of teeth engageable with and disengageable from the first row of teeth in response to axial movement of the rotary member. A corrugated ring spring is provided which is interposed between the lever and the other end face of the boss.

  • Patent number: 4627305
Abstract: A bicycle speed change lever comprising: a stationary support spindle having an internally threaded axial hole and fixed at its one end to a bicycle frame tube, a lever handle rotatably mounted at its hole end portion on the support spindle, a plurality of washers supported on the spindle, a clipping holder which has a pair of axially spaced, holed disk-like portions resiliently connected to a cross arm and which is non-rotatably mounted on the spindle, with the washers and the holed end portion of the lever handle sandwiched between the pair of disk-like portions, to hold them together by pressure, and a lock bolt having its threaded shank engaged with the threaded axial hole of the spindle for applying adjusted frictional force to the holed end portion of the lever handle.

  • Patent number: 4437357
Abstract: In a double assembly for bicycle speed control including a first lever for operating a rear derailleur by means of a control cable in order to shift an endless drive chain from one rear sprocket to a selected rear sprocket of a multiple freewheel, and a second lever for operating a front derailleur by means of a further control cable in order to shift the chain from one front sprocket to another front sprocket of a chainwheel, pivotal motion of the first lever causes synchronous sliding motion of the second lever through a motion converting mechanism so as to automatically center a guide cage of the front derailleur over a chain line thereby to prevent the chain from hitting the inside of the guide cage.

  • Patent number: 4400038
Abstract: A quick-release type hub for bicycles comprises a hub shell journalled on a stationary tubular axle through which extends a slidable spindle, at one end of which a cam lever is mounted co-axially rotatably with an actuating member which includes a clamping edge section and a releasing edge section; an elastically deformable spring washer interposed between the actuating member and a push member slidably mounted on the spindle, so that the push member is prevented from sliding axially outwardly as long as the clamping edge section is in contact with the spring washer; and the spindle being axially slidable only when the releasing edge section is in contact with the spring washer.
