Abstract: The present invention provides a bridged stream corona generator including a first electrode comprising an electrical conductor having projections on its surface; a second electrode again comprising an electrical conductor, which is located in opposition to the first electrode; insulator means applied on at least the side of the second electrode in opposition to the first electrode; a high voltage power source connected to the first and second electrodes; and means for feeding a viscous oil onto the side of the insulator means which directs to the first electrode. With this arrangement, it is possible to smooth out irregularities caused by deposits on the side of the insulator means which faces the first electrode, thereby contributing to maintaining bridged stream corona discharge in a stable manner. The present corona generator lends itself well to purifying exhaust fumes from automobiles by corona discharge.

Abstract: A car door mirror angle control device adjusts the mirror angle in accordance with the driver's seat position. A support mechanism supports the mirror case and adjusts the inclination of the mirror face in accordance with the driver's horizontal and vertical viewing angles. The driver's optimum viewing angle is attained by adjusting the mirror angles in horizontal and vertical planes when the position of the driver's seat is changed.

Abstract: A shock absorbing apparatus for a door mirror of automobiles capable of absorbing a shock applied to the door mirror when a pedestrian or the like strikes the door mirror, by automatically rotating the door mirror; comprising an inner cylinder rotatably mounted on a supporting axis, and outer cylinder into which the inner cylinder can be received, and a shock absorbing member disposed between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, and fixed to the inner and outer cylinders respectively, the inner cylinder having a longer length in the axial direction than that of the outer cylinder, the supporting axis being disposed between upper and lower flanges mounted on either a door or a mirror case, both ends of the inner cylinder being fastened by the upper and lower flanges, and the outer cylinder being connected to the other provided with no flange.

Abstract: A compact rotation detecting device in which a rotor providing a set and a reset permanent magnets, a disk providing a plurality of wires having Wiegand effect in the radial direction of the disk, and spiral coils mounted on plural insulating disks are assembled in a housing case in a stack fashion, the spiral coils being automatically connected in series by the assembly, and upon rotation of the rotor pulse frequency proportional to the amount of the rotor's rotation being derived from the series connection of the spiral coils.
