  • Patent number: 10403453
Abstract: An electronic device is provided that uniformalizes (makes uniform) pressing sensitivities of operation switches such as a plurality of immediate output switches. A system includes a PC which is connected to a communication line, and an audio interface device which is connected to the PC and which has an immediate output switch which outputs to the PC a reproduction start command signal of an audio file which is assigned in advance, according to a user operation. A processor of the audio interface device converts an output value of the immediate output switch using a conversion table to a level value among a plurality of levels, and outputs the converted value. The conversion table is a table which converts different output values of the immediate output switch for the same pressing force into the same level value.

  • Patent number: 10033209
Abstract: Portable electronic equipment which prevents an unwanted decrease in capacity of an internal battery of an external device, such as a smartphone, by cutting off feeding as necessary when connected to the external device, such as the smartphone, through a USB. The portable electronic equipment has a USB connector for connection with the external device, a feeding switch for turning on or off feeding to the secondary battery through a VBUS line, and a CPU. The CPU subjects the feeding switch to ON-control at all times or OFF-control at all times, or displays a selection menu for selecting feeding or unfeeding when the external device is connected to the USB connector. When a user selects feeding, the feeding switch undergoes ON-control. When the user selects unfeeding, the feeding switch undergoes OFF-control.

  • Publication number: 20030179712
Abstract: The quality and performance of the connectionless communications system are improved. When a BOM is received, the destination address DA of the L3-PDU stored in the payload of the BOM is retrieved, and the tag information is obtained from the DA (S11). The output message identifier MID is reserved (S12), and the tag information and output MID are assigned to the BOM (S13). Then, the tag information and output MID are written to the table. When a COM is received, the tag information and output MID are retrieved using the MID of the COM as a key, and the information is provided for the COM (S31 and S32). When an EOM is received, the tag information and output MID are retrieved using the MID of the EOM as a key, and the information is provided for the EOM (S41 and S42). Then, the output MID is released (S43).

  • Patent number: 6624368
Abstract: A switch device is provided which allows easy recognition of the operation amount of the switch device with an inexpensive structure and without the need for an operator to change the posture or the like, even when a blind spot region is generated in an indicator as a special indication region at the time of indicating the operation amount of the switch. When the special indication region on the indicator cannot be seen directly because it is blocked by a knob, the state of the indicator in the special indication region is expressed using a visible region on the indicator which is always visible. Thus, the operator can recognize the operation amount of the switch device in the blind spot region without changing the posture or the like and using a simple structure of the switch device.

  • Patent number: 6611409
Abstract: The present invention relates to a line module protection method and a device utilizing that method. According to the line module protection method of the present invention, line module protection is performed by switching the connection from a broken line accommodating module to an auxiliary module. A plurality of line accommodating modules are included in a line accommodating unit connected to the lines in a network. The plurality of line accommodating modules are divided into a plurality of groups, and the auxiliary module is placed substantially at the same distance from all the groups. Thus, a large number of line accommodating modules for performing line module protection can be employed with one auxiliary module.

  • Patent number: 6282173
Abstract: A processing apparatus for measuring accumulated values of performance monitoring (PM) parameters concerning a reception signal received by a transmission device, which is capable of detecting upper layer failures in a more accurate, hardware-based way, without increasing the workload imposed on the system's firmware. PM parameters represent the statistics of events that meet prescribed criteria for defects and anomalies in the reception signal. The processing apparatus has a plurality of failure detection units to detect different kinds of failures in the reception signal and produce failure detection signals corresponding thereto. Those failure detection units include a first failure detection unit that detects a first kind of failure and a second failure detection unit that detects a second kind of failure. On the basis of the failure detection signals, a PM controller detects at least one kind of PM parameter, and a counter unit accumulates the detected PM parameter.

  • Patent number: 6026098
Abstract: A plurality of input lines are respectively connected to separate multiplexing units that are connected in cascade by cascading lines. Select signals are transferred in parallel with fixed length packets over the cascading lines. Each separate multiplexing unit is responsive to a select signal received from the cascading line to select one of fixed length packets received over the corresponding input line and the upstream cascading line and output it over the downstream cascading line. The most downstream separate multiplexing unit provides a multiplexed output of the input lines.
