Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes an image management module, an image delivery module, a setting module and a management number processing module. The image delivery module delivers image data managed by the image management module to one or more other information processing apparatuses. The management number processing module informs the one or more other information processing apparatuses of unique management number set by the setting module to update the management number in the delivered image data to the informed management number.
