  • Patent number: 8414465
Abstract: Provided is a bag-making machine for manufacturing a plastic bag with a body part and side gusset parts, in which when a bag having a long height is manufactured, it is not required to use a body member with a long width. Side gusset members (14) are folded in two and fed by a side gusset member supply mechanism (16). The side gusset members (14) are disposed in the longitudinal direction of a body member (11) so as to face each other at spaces therebetween in the lateral direction of the body member (11). Each of the side gusset members (14) is divided into predetermined lengths, and the divided side gusset members (14) are disposed at spaces therebetween in the longitudinal direction of the body member (11). The body member (11) and the side gusset members (14) are so heat-sealed by a vertical sealing device (26) in the longitudinal direction of the body member (11) as to form vertical seal parts (27).

  • Publication number: 20130068392
Abstract: An apparatus makes plastic bags in succession by intermittently feeding webs of plastic film longitudinally along a path. Movable units are spaced apart along the path and are driven by drive units, one for each movable unit, longitudinally of the film webs. Control switches, one for each movable unit, works on each drive unit to move the corresponding movable unit for position adjustment. The film webs are processed by at least some of the movable units whenever being fed intermittently, to successively make the plastic bags.

  • Publication number: 20130059710
Abstract: It is intended to mount and remove the heat seal bar 2 without difficulty. A receiving recess 7 formed in the heat seal bar 2 while an insert 8 is received in and fixed to the receiving recess 7. A tension pin 16 is supported by the heater unit 1, inserted into the adjacent recess 11 and then inserted into the axial groove 9 through the axial opening 10. An actuator is provided at the heater unit 1, the tension pin 16 being pulled and moved axially thereof by the actuator 19 so that the head 17 should be engaged with the inward protrusion 18. The tension pin 16 and the insert 8 cooperate with each other to mount the heat seal bar 2 on the heater unit 1.

  • Publication number: 20120135845
Abstract: Upon cutting a corner of a plastic bag, the cut-out portion is prevented from attaching to the plastic bag. A plastic film (1) is trimmed by a trimming cutter (7) to form a selvage (8). Every time that the plastic film (1) is intermittently fed, the trimming cutter (7) is moved by a trimming cutter moving mechanism, so that a corner of the plastic bag is cut by the trimming cutter (7) and the cut-out portion (11) is continued from the selvage (8).

  • Publication number: 20120035035
Abstract: Plastic bags are made by feeding webs joined at a joint line, and by supplying a side gusset sheet between the webs. The webs are temporarily fixed to two side gusset layers. One web is folded along a first folded line spaced from the joint line to open the webs and form an open surface. One side gusset layer is folded along the first folded line to open the side gusset layers along with an auxiliary gusset portion and form an open surface on layers of the auxiliary gusset portion. One web is turned along a turned line formed between the joint line and the first folded line to make a turned portion superposed on the open surfaces. The other web is folded along a second folded line spaced from the joint line to make a folded portion superposed on the open surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20110237414
Abstract: Problems concerning adhesion strength and aging time are eliminated in plastic-bag production in which a strip sheet is bonded with an adhesive and a handle is formed from the strip sheet on an outer surface of a plastic bag. Provided is a bag-making machine in which a strip sheet (17) and a web material are disposed so as to face each other and are pressed, with a high-adhesion adhesive (21) and another adhesive (25) interposed therebetween. The strip sheet (17) is provisionally fixed to the web material with the latter adhesive (25). This web material after the provisional fixing is wound on a roll, and a plastic bag is produced after lapse of an aging time for the high-adhesion adhesive (21). In this machine, the web material is supplied from the roll, and a plastic bag is produced from the web material.

  • Publication number: 20110091595
Abstract: A plastic film (2) is drawn in a different manner. A plurality of rollers (15a, 15b, 15c) are opposed to a base (14). The rollers are operated by a first drive mechanism (22), and the rollers are moved in the lateral direction of the plastic film. Second drive mechanisms (17a, 17b, 17c) act on the rollers, respectively. On the base, at least one roller is pressed against the plastic film, and at least one roller rolls along the plastic film. The plastic film is drawn by that roller.

Abstract: (A1) Translate this text A plastic film (1) is drawn by a method different from a conventional one. The plastic film is intermittently fed in the longitudinal direction. A drawing member and a support base are installed in a plastic film feeding path, oppositely to each other, on both sides of the plastic film in the thickness direction. When the plastic film is temporarily stopped, the drawing member advances toward the support base between the lateral both side edges of the plastic film and is pressed against the plastic film and the support base to draw the plastic film in the longitudinal direction. Then, the drawing member retreats from the support base, and is separated from the plastic film.

  • Publication number: 20080250908
Abstract: A bag making machine for producing plastic bags by processing plastic films by a processing device, wherein it is intended to accurately process plastic films, to protect the processing device from damage, and to save the required time while decreasing the processing rate as little as possible. A driving mechanism is connected to a processing device to drive the latter. Further, a control device is connected to the driving mechanism. After acceleration (?1) of the driving mechanism, the mechanism is once decelerated (?1). At the start of the processing of plastic films, the processing device is driven at a low speed (V2). Further, as the processing proceeds, the driving mechanism is reaccelerated (?2) to drive the processing device at a high speed (V3).

  • Patent number: 7044184
Abstract: An apparatus is arranged to successively make plastic bags each of which has a shape of circumference. The apparatus comprises web feeding means by which a web material is intermittently fed for a length along a longitudinal feeding path. The web material comprises two or more layers of plastic film. Web cutting means is disposed along the feeding path. The web cutting means has a shape corresponding completely or incompletely to the shape of circumference of plastic bag so that the web material can be cut into the shape of circumference of plastic bag by the web cutting means whenever the web material is intermittently fed and temporarily stopped, to successively make the plastic bags with a waste kept continuous. The web cutting means comprises partially cutting means. The plastic bag has an upstream edge along which the web material is partially cut by the partially cutting means so that the plastic bag can be kept connected with the waste at the upstream edge of plastic bag.
