  • Patent number: 4786987
Abstract: A camera wherein a subject to be taken is pure-electronically still-photographed and recorded, and an image is reproduced by a television system and a printer. Resolution of the camera of this type is lower than that of the ordinary cameras. Accordingly, during the portrait photographing, it is necessary that the ratio of the face occupying in the taking background is made to be beyond a predetermined value. Then, when the taking distance is beyond a predetermined value, a warning is issued to call a photographer's attention to a close-in taking or automatically zoom-up.

  • Patent number: 4768505
Abstract: A calculus crushing apparatus includes a flexible sheath for insertion into a body cavity and an operation wire slidably inserted in the sheath. A basket for holding a calculus is fixed to the distal end of the operation wire. The basket is formed of a plurality of elastic wires. A connecting rod is connected to the proximal end of the operation wire. By moving the connecting rod by an operation mechanism, the operation wire slides in the sheath, so that the basket is projected from or retracted in the sheath. The connecting rod has a disconnecting portion which is weaker than the elastic wires and operation wire against tension.

  • Patent number: 4695905
Abstract: A video recording/reproducing camera has a cover which covers control buttons associated with the reproduction operation to prevent an operator from touching the control buttons. A sensor switch detects whether or not the cover prevents the control buttons from being touched erroneously by the operator. When the sensor switch detects that the cover uncovers the control buttons to permit the control buttons to be touched by the operator, the operation of the video camera and the recording operation are disabled and only the reproduction mode is enabled. Therefore, the erroneous operations during the recording and reproduction modes are prevented.

  • Patent number: 4684229
Abstract: A camera comprises an exposure frame for defining an exposure aperture in the camera body, an automatic film winding device incorporated in the camera body, and a light emitting element disposed at the exposure frame. The light emitting element is controlled to emit light to which a loaded film is exposed as the film is advanced by the automatic film winding device. The film provided by the camera, after development, shows a visible image of various line marks produced by the light emitting element which indicate that the film or a portion of frames on the film have been exposed under a certain mode of operation of the camera. The line mark is detected when picture images on the film are magnetically recorded on a magnetic sheet. The magnetic sheet is transferred to a reproducing apparatus in order to display the picture image on a TV screen in one of a variety of ways according to the line marks.

  • Patent number: 4633306
Abstract: An arrangement for producing visual images recorded on a disk of film includes an imaging system having a solid-state image sensor, which can take a first position where it picks up the whole area of the disk of film, and a second position where it picks up a single frame of image recorded on the disk. A control unit, which is operative in response to manual instructions provided from a keyboard, causes the image sensor to be in its first position during an entire area display mode so that the entire area of the disk will be displayed on a display screen. In an individual frame display mode, the control unit causes the image sensor to be in the second position, in response to a desired frame being designated by the keyboard, so as to display the designated frame on the monitor screen.

  • Patent number: 4613910
Abstract: A still picture to television signal conversion system for scanning a still picture to produce a video signal includes an image pickup device for scanning a still picture to form a video signal, which represents the still picture. A rotatable recording medium is caused by a drive unit to rotate. A recording unit is operatively connected to the image pickup device to record the video signal on the recording medium. A reproducing unit reads the video signal out of the recording medium for playback. A control circuit is constructed to enable the drive unit to rotate the recording medium at a first speed, cause the image pickup device to scan the still picture in synchronism with the rotation of the recording medium, and cause the recording unit to record the video signal on a predetermined recording unit of the recording medium.

  • Patent number: 4466443
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for examination of a coeliac cavity, wherein a chamber sealed from the outside is provided near the distal end portion of an insertion section. An ultrasonic scanning motor provided with an ultrasonic transducer is held in the sealed chamber. This ultrasonic scanning rotor is rotated by a force supplied from a drive power source in an operation section through the rotation torque-transmitting member. A drive passage through which the rotation torque-transmitting member extends communicates with the sealed chamber. That portion of the drive passage which is located near the operation section is sealed by a packing. The drive passage and sealed chamber are filled with a liquid ultrasonic-permeable medium.

  • Patent number: 4066070
Abstract: Main and auxiliary cuffs made of an elastic material such as rubber, etc., are mounted in close proximity to each other on the forward end portion of a flexible sheath of a tubular medical instrument. The flexible sheath is inserted into a body cavity of a human being and with further insertion of the flexible tube the main cuff is contacted, while at the expanded state, with the wall surface of the body cavity and when the flexible sheath is forwardly pushed the portion of the main cuff is rearwardly deformed, while effecting a rolling contact with the wall surface of the body cavity, to permit it to ride on the auxiliary cuff. When the auxiliary cuff is then expanded to cause the corresponding wall surface of the body cavity to be expanded, the main cuff is separated away from the wall surface of the body cavity to cause the portion of the main cuff to be forwardly pushed ahead into an original position.
