  • Publication number: 20210101613
Abstract: A method is performed by a control device (100) of a first module (30, 40) of a vehicle (1), for electrically disconnecting the first module (30, 40) from a second module (30, 40) that is physically connected to the first module (30, 40), wherein the assembled vehicle (1) is configured to communicate with a control center (200). The method includes: identifying (s101) that the assembled vehicle (1) is ready to be disassembled; inactivating (s102) communication means (50) in the first module (30, 40) for establishing the electrical disconnection; and transmitting (s103) a verification of the electrical disconnection to the control center (200).

  • Publication number: 20210001940
Abstract: The invention relates to a method performed by a first control device for controlling assembly of a vehicle from a set of modules, the set of modules comprising: at least one drive module and at least one functional module, wherein the at least one drive module comprises a pair of wheels and is configured to be autonomously operated, and wherein each module in the set of modules comprises at least one interface releasably connectable to a corresponding interface on the other module, the method comprising: commanding a second control device of the at least one drive module to physically connect the at least one drive module with the at least one functional module to assemble a vehicle; and receiving, from at least one of the modules of the assembled vehicle, a verification of the connection between the modules.

  • Patent number: 6695395
Abstract: Connection for a grill panel (10) of a motor vehicle, incorporating a pair of mountings for the grill panel. To provide a safe and dimensionally stable connection for the grill panel, it is proposed, inter alia, that each mounting be associated with a hinge (20; 30) for a side door of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4936159
Abstract: A movement transmission system is for a ventilation system of a vehicle. A manual adjustment device is located remotely from a control device for controlling the ventilation system. The manual adjustment device includes a first rotatable element which is selectively rotated in a first direction and in a second direction opposite of the first direction. The control device includes a second rotatable element which is rotatable in a third direction and in a fourth direction opposite of the third direction. A wire transmission component is disposed to extend between the manual adjustment device and the control device and includes a first wire member and a second wire member. The first wire member produces rotation of the second rotatable element in the third direction by a pulling force in response to rotation of the first rotatable element in the first direction.
