  • Patent number: 12046782
Abstract: A fuel cell power system and a method of starting a fuel cell power system. The fuel cell power system includes a fuel cell system having one or more voltage outputs, one or more DC/DC converters each having an output and an input, the input being connectable to the voltage outputs of the fuel cell system, a DC voltage link connectable to the output of the one or more DC/DC converters, and a local load connectable to the DC voltage link. In the system, the local load is adapted to draw power from the fuel cell system to decrease the voltage of the fuel cell system.

  • Patent number: 8983050
Abstract: This invention presents a service of barring the forwarded calls. According to the invention, a subscriber may define in his subscriber information that all calls forwarded to him are to be rejected. In response to receiving a request for establishing a call to a subscriber, his subscriber information is checked to find out if he has defined that calls forwarded to him are to be rejected. If the subscriber information shows that the subscriber wishes to reject the forwarded incoming calls, the call establishment signaling is studied to find out if the call has been forwarded. If the call is determined to have been forwarded, the call is rejected. In a preferred embodiment the subscriber may define a set of allowed numbers from which even the forwarded calls are to be accepted.

  • Publication number: 20120329508
Abstract: A telecommunications system comprising a first station and a plurality of second stations. The first station is arranged to request a connection with at least one of the plurality of second stations. The connection request has a location criteria which has to be satisfied by at least one second station, wherein at least one register is provided for storing the location information for at least some of said second stations. A selection function is provided for selecting at least one of the second stations onto which a connection establishment is triggered the basis of the location information stored in the register.

  • Patent number: 7340246
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transmitting information to a subscriber in a telephone system in connection with call establishment. In order to achieve more efficient transmission of information between the parties participating in the call establishment, a message designated for a predetermined subscriber or a group of subscribers is stored in a memory means, whereby in connection with the call establishment another party to the call establishment is identified, the message designated for the identified party is retrieved from the memory means, and said message is sent to the identified party in connection with the call establishment.

  • Patent number: 7149501
Abstract: Within a cellular network, an incoming voice mail message is received at a voice mail server (20), adapted into a format suitable for transmission by a network connection which does not meet a delay requirement for delay sensitive information, dispatched to a mobile station (30), and received, readapted and stored thereat within a storing means (35). Adaptation, transmission, reception and readaptation conform to standards such as the GPRS and the UMTS. The voice mail message is dispatched directly to the mobile station (30) via an IP address of an ISDN address thereof. In this manner, instead of dispatching a message via the SMS, the sending of an adapted voice mail message directly to a mobile station (30) and storing it thereat makes it possible to avoid that a user has to poll a service center by calling in order to have the message delivered.

  • Patent number: 7076799
Abstract: In a communications system, the subscriber data in a home network of a subscriber is provided with a subscriber ciphering profile, which indicates whether an unciphered call, session or data packet is to be rejected, accepted or handled in some other manner. A serving network checks the subscriber ciphering profile in one or more of the following cases: 1) for each setup of an unciphered call or connection, 2) for each unciphered packet switched data transmission session, or 3) for each packet data transmission originating from subscriber equipment, and rejects or accepts the unciphered call, connection, session, or data packet, respectively, according to the subscriber ciphering profile. As a result, unciphered calls, sessions, or packet data transmissions will be reliably rejected.

  • Patent number: 7027800
Abstract: System and method for providing a service to a subscriber in a network. A specific network information of a mobile station (1) is provided to a service provider (5) which generates an individual service message on the basis of the provided network information. The provision of the network information may be dependent on a predetermined subscriber condition. Thus, the service message can be transmitted to predetermined subscribers without requiring the subscriber to generate and transmit the specific network information to the service provider (5).

  • Publication number: 20030152232
Abstract: In a communications system, the subscriber data in a home network (HLR) of a subscriber (UE) is provided with a subscriber ciphering profile which indicates whether an unciphered call, session or data packet is to be rejected, accepted or handled in some other manner. A serving network (MSC/VLR, SGSN,UTRAN) checks the subscriber ciphering profile in one or more of the following cases: 1) for each setup of an unciphered call or connection, 2) for each unciphered packet switched data transmission session, or 3) for each packet data transmission originating from subscriber equipment, and rejects or accepts the unciphered call, connection, session, or data packet, respectively, according to the subscriber ciphering profile. As a result, unciphered calls, sessions, or packet data transmissions will be reliably rejected if the network operator or the user sets the subscriber ciphering profile accordingly.

  • Patent number: 6493554
Abstract: The invention relates to a handover method in a mobile communication system in which error correction of a radio signal can be arranged with different protection levels. The method comprises measuring the signal level and/or quality of base stations in a mobile station, the signal quality and level of the mobile station at the base station is measured, comparing measurements results thus obtained and other variables of the connection with handover criteria, and handover is performed from the source cell to the target cell, when the handover criteria are met. The invention is characterized by determining at least one handover criterion depending on error correction of the radio connection. The invention further relates to a mobile communication system for performing handover.
