  • Publication number: 20240315578
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for determining blood pressure based on a relative timing of pulses are described. In some implementations, a system may include one or more wearable devices configured to measure heartbeats at different locations on the body of a user. The different locations may be different physiological locations (e.g., chest and finger/wrist), and/or different penetration depths at the same physiological location. The system may use the components of the wearable devices to acquire physiological data and to observe one or more heartbeats of the user over a time period. The system may compare pulse observation times observed at the different locations, and may determine a blood pressure metric for the user based on a relative timing of when heartbeats are observed at the different locations.

  • Publication number: 20240180498
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support techniques for generating alerts based on a relative location are described. A method may include acquiring physiological data associated with a user via a wearable device, the physiological data including at least temperature data, acceleration data, and photolethysmogram (PPG) data, or a combination of data. The method may include determining that the user is not wearing the wearable device based on the physiological data. The method may include determining a signal strength associated with a wireless connection between the wearable device and a user device associated with the user based on the user not wearing the wearable device. The method may include causing a graphical user interface (GUI) of the user device to display notification associated with the wearable device based on the signal strength failing to satisfy a threshold signal strength.

  • Publication number: 20230114269
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for blood oxygen measurement are described. A method may include receiving, via a wearable device, a first photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal for a user acquired during a time interval using a first set of PPG sensors, and receiving a second PPG signal for the user acquired during the time interval using a second set of PPG sensors that are different from the first set of PPG sensors. The method may include comparing the first PPG signal and the second PPG signal, and determining one or more blood oxygen saturation metrics for the user during the time interval based on the comparison of the first PPG signal and the second PPG signal. The method may include causing a graphical user interface (GUI) to display an indication of the one or more blood oxygen saturation metrics.
