Abstract: A method, device, system, and a computer program product for association of memory to folder information are disclosed. The electronic device includes one or more memory elements and a sending module. Each of the memory elements is adapted to store folders therein, and the sending module is adapted to send a capability object and a folder-listing object to a receiving module. The capability object includes memory information corresponding to the one or more memory elements, and the folder-listing object includes folder information corresponding to a folder contained in one of the memory elements. The folder information includes an attribute identifying the one memory element containing the folder.

Abstract: The invention relates to the sharing of data between a first and a second device. A data transmission connection is set up between the devices to adapt the devices and to share data between the devices. The second device comprises an adapter program which adapts the first device to the second device on the basis of the setting data of the first device. The setting data of the first device are arranged in the first device, wherein the setting data are transmitted to the second device to implement the adaptation.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to view the properties/attributes of a selected or specified object in the Object Exchange (OBEX) environment. A field, e.g., a Permissions field, is included in a GET request, where the field includes a header portion, e.g., a Permission header set to an arbitrary value. In responding to the GET request from an OBEX client, an OBEX server includes one or more permissions associated with an object specified in the GET request in a response, where the one or more associated permissions are included before actual body data. Therefore, the OBEX client may efficiently and directly query an object's attributes. Additionally, if the OBEX client is not interested in the body data of the object, the GET operation can be aborted upon receiving the desired Permission header.
