  • Patent number: 7958757
Abstract: The main objective of the present invention is to provide a cam lock that allows the user to find the correct code when forgetting. The cam lock has an inner shell, an outer shell, a main core assembly, a secondary core assembly, a tongue and an identification assembly. A cover of the outer shell and the inner shell are secured to each other and are mounted rotatably with the rear casing of the outer shell. The main and secondary core assemblies are mounted in the inner shell. Either the main and secondary core assemblies is unlocked, the tongue is rotatable. The identification assembly cooperates with the secondary core assembly to find the code via unlocking the secondary core assembly. Therefore, the cam lock is convenient for use.

  • Publication number: 20110072866
Abstract: A radial lock has at least one outer positioning recess formed in an inner surface of a housing and at least one inner positioning recess formed in an outer surface of a lock cylinder and adjacently misaligns with the at least one outer positioning recess. A key has at least one outer boss formed in an outer surface of a driving tube and at least one inner boss formed in an inner surface of the driving tube and adjacently misaligns with the at least one outer nose. When the key is inserted into the radial lock, the at least one outer and inner bosses are respectively inserted into the at least one outer and inner positioning recesses. Numbers and relative positions of the outer and inner positioning recesses and bosses generate distinct and different combinations of radial locks and keys.

  • Publication number: 20100313616
Abstract: A combination lock cylinder has a shell and multiple external wheels. Multiple resilient ribs are attached respectively in mounting recesses of the shell. Each resilient rib corresponds to one mounting recess and has a central protrusion. Each external wheel has multiple elongated ribs formed transversely out from the outside wall. With the resilient force of the resilient ribs and the interaction between the elongated ribs and the central protrusions, the external wheels are positioned at predetermined positions automatically.

  • Patent number: 7628047
Abstract: A compound lock has a common housing, a latch assembly, a supplementary lock and a combination lock. The latch assembly is rotatably attached to and protrudes from the common housing. The combination lock and supplementary lock are mounted in the common housing and engage the latch assembly, and either may rotate the latch assembly. Thus, in general, people may unlock the compound lock using either the combination lock or the supplementary lock with a key when the combination is forgotten without breaking the compound lock.

  • Publication number: 20090151402
Abstract: A combination padlock has a base, a cover, a lock core assembly and a shackle. The base has a key chamber and a shackle mount. The cover is slidably mounted pivotally on the base to cover the chamber and has a shackle mount. The shackle mount of the cover selectively cooperates with the shackle mount of the base to form a locking recess. The lock core assembly is a combination lock core and is mounted in the base. The shackle combines with the lock core assembly to provide the combination padlock a locking capability and is mounted in the locking recess to prevent the cover sliding relative to the base. Consequently, a user can lock their keys in the chamber and lock the padlock in a preferred place so need not carry the keys everywhere.

  • Patent number: 7462045
Abstract: A connector lock for a computer interface port has a block and a key. The block corresponds to and is mounted removably in the computer interface port to prevent any peripheral device from being inserted into or making an electrical connection with the computer interface port and has two sides, two retaining members and a channel. The retaining members protrude respectively outward from the sides of the block and are resilient. The key is inserted in the channel and turned to remove the block from the computer interface port. When the block is plugged into the computer interface port, the retaining members press tightly against inner sidewalls of the computer interface port. Only the correct key can easily remove the block from the computer interface port so the connector lock prevents malicious or accidental information exchange between a computer and periphery using the computer interface port.

  • Patent number: 7444844
Abstract: A dual-mode lock for a locker has a base, a knob, a key lock assembly, a housing and a combination lock assembly. The base is mounted through the locker. The knob is attached to the base. The key lock assembly is mounted in the knob, and has a lock core mounted rotatably through the base and having a latch for locking the locker. The housing is attached to the base and has a combination mount. The combination lock assembly is mounted in the combination mount to selectively lock or allow the lock core to rotate. Therefore, if a combination is forgotten or lost, the dual-mode lock may be opened quickly with a corresponding key and the combination reset reducing building management stress and preventing replacement costs.

  • Patent number: 7428834
Abstract: A lock for universal serial bus (USB) ports has a shell, a tongue, a slide and a lock cylinder. The shell has a front end opening. The tongue is mounted securely in and protrudes out from the front end opening. The slide is mounted movably in the shell. The lock cylinder is mounted movably in the shell and selectively pushes the slide out of the front opening of the shell. The tongue is inserted in and engages the USB port. The lock cylinder pushes and secures the slide in the USB port under the tongue to lock the tongue in the USB port. Therefore, the USB port is locked and may not be used without permission.

  • Patent number: 7370499
Abstract: A dual-mode lock with a combination identification function has a combination mechanism and a cylinder mechanism. The combination mechanism has multiple wheel assemblies. Each wheel assembly has an identification notch formed at a specific position corresponding to a combination number of the wheel assembly. The cylinder mechanism has an actuating shaft that is unlocked and rotated by an operating key. Additionally, the actuating shaft moves an access panel that has multiple aligning holes to align the aligning holes respectively with the identification notches. Consequently, a user can easily identify the combination of the dual-mode lock by insertion of a simple detecting tool.

  • Patent number: 7240526
Abstract: A lock includes a cylinder, a cylinder plug and a locking pin assembly. The cylinder plug is rotatably mounted in the cylinder and has a dummy keyhole and a cylinder plug keyhole defined completely through the cylinder plug. The locking pin assembly has multiple locking pins that are slidably partially held in the cylinder plug keyhole. A two step method to open the lock with a key with serrations initially inserts the key serrations into and presses the key serrations completely through the dummy keyhole. Then the serrations are rotated, aligned with and pulled back into the cylinder plug keyhole. Conventional displacement of the locking pins allows the cylinder plug to be rotated, which opens the lock. Pressing the key completely through the lock removes any foreign objects such as toothpicks, chewing gun or pieces of paper and allows the lock to be opened.

  • Patent number: 7076977
Abstract: The lock assembly has a lock housing assembly, a driven assembly and a lock core. The driven assembly and the lock core are mounted in the lock housing assembly. The driven assembly has a connector and is selectively engaged to the lock core to allow the connector to be rotated to lock or unlock an object. The connector is able to lock two objects together or can connect an object to a stationary fixture with an optional cable, and the connector can be changed so a lock manufacturer can use this lock assembly to make many different kinds of locks.

  • Patent number: 7073358
Abstract: A self-locking cable lock has a main shell, an external sleeve, an internal sleeve, a lock shell, a lock cylinder and a lock actuating assembly. The external sleeve is mounted in the main shell and has a stationary protruding rod extending out of the main shell. The internal sleeve is mounted in the external sleeve, is allowed to move axially relative to the external sleeve and has two movable protruding rods. The movable protruding rods extend out of the external sleeve and have inclined distal ends. The lock cylinder is mounted in the lock shell. The lock actuating assembly is mounted in the lock cylinder. The stationary protruding rod is pushed into a keyhole of a desired appliance and the movable protruding rods can be pressed to move axially. Then the cable lock is able to be self-locking.
