Abstract: Various embodiments for selective point-to multipoint retransmission of media content carried by multicast frames over a wireless communication link are described. In one embodiment, a device may be arranged to establish a main multicast channel and a multicast retransmission channel over a common wireless communication link. The device may communicate media content as one or more multicast frames over the main multicast channel and may communicate one or more requested multicast frames over the multicast retransmission channel in response to a retransmission request identifying one or more missing multicast frames lost during communication over the main multicast channel. In one embodiment, a command or comment may be received by the flash memory.
