Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include a method for locking and synchronizing Hall-sensor driven motors electronically. A programmable integrated circuit microcontroller is positioned between the Hall-sensors and the motor drivers. The microcontroller is programmed to receive signals from the Hall sensor, mitigate the errors introduced due to uneven magnetization and sensor misalignments, and then synchronize/lock the angle and speed of the motors such that the motors operate as if on a common shaft.
