  • Patent number: 11904555
Abstract: Methods and apparatus' for induction welding a first workpiece to a second workpiece at a welding region may include a metallic strip. The metallic strip may be a mesh. The properties of the metallic strip, such as, for example, pore size, thickness, and density, may be configured to conduct heat uniformly across the welding region and prevent eddy current formation across a workpiece. The metallic strip may be embedded in a workpiece or may be fixed to an induction welding tool that acts on the welding region during induction welding. A removable polymer tape may be disposed between a workpiece and a metallic strip fixed to an induction welding tool. The workpieces may be thermoplastic composite structures and thermoplastic composite stiffeners in aircraft structures.

  • Publication number: 20190177973
Abstract: A panel mount securing a panel to an adjoining structure. The panel mount includes a first and a second jaw defining an elongate slot. The first jaw includes a first abutment surface facing the elongate slot. The panel mount includes a clamp having a first and a second clamp plate within the elongate slot. The first clamp plate includes a second abutment surface abutting the first abutment surface. A clamp orientation may be altered when the second abutment surface slides longitudinally relative to the first abutment surface. The second clamp plate includes a non-planar surface having a plateau facing the second jaw. A jamming device between the non-planar surface and the second jaw includes a pair of blocks and an adjustment member for adjusting a distance between the blocks. • Publication number: 20180329873
Abstract: A system and method for data extraction from structured documents using historical or related data. Structured documents are searched for instances of an attribute value that match a known historical value for the attribute. Document features associated with the attribute value are identified and anchor a location within the hierarchy of the document structure where the attribute value can be found and extracted. An accuracy for the identified anchors is determined by evaluating how well the anchor's extraction history matches the reported history. Anchors are grouped into anchor sets such that all anchors in a set extract attributes from the same structured document template. The anchors are prioritized according to the determined accuracy, the prioritized list defining the order in which a structure document template should be searched for an attribute value.
