  • Patent number: 5791764
Abstract: A light fixture with extruded wire way cover mount for quick engagement and disengagement of the wire way cover and fixture housing. The fixture housing is extruded to form a recessed channel with a pair of elongated, opposing retainer lips extending over the opposite sides of the channel to define respective retainer slots therebetween. A flexible wire way cover is provided and includes a pair of flanges for receipt in the respective retainer slots. A diffuser is also provided and is likewise formed with mounting flanges for receipt in respective diffuser retainer slots formed in the lateral side walls of the housing in overlying relation with the wire way cover.

  • Patent number: 5197797
Abstract: An elongated transparent open ended tubular housing formed with an interior chamber for telescopical receipt of an elongated channel-shaped rail formed having opposed inturned longitudinal flanges defining therebetween passageways. A plurality of L-shaped mounting brackets are configured with respective horizontally disposed foot plates, the opposite marginal edges thereof forming sliders received slidably under the rail flanges. The opposite leg of the respective brackets then form vertically projecting mounting plates which mount respective sockets for receipt of the opposite ends of tubular electrical lamps to mount them with the bottom peripheral segments thereof recessed into said passageway. One mounting bracket is formed with an elongated strip disposed in heat exchange relationship with heat emitting electrical components to provide for efficient transfer to the channel which will act as a heat sink.

  • Patent number: 5171085
Abstract: The lighting fixture recessible into an opening formed in a ceiling and including a housing defining a recessible pan mount for mounting electrical lamp sockets. Such housing then projects downwardly through the opening and mounts on the opposite ends thereof respective end caps. The end caps project downwardly from the opening and flare laterally outwardly to the opposed sides to form wings which mount stub pins in longitudinally axial alignment. Such pins are adapted for being engaged by grooves formed in the opposite lateral sides of a channel shaped diffuser such that the diffuser may be detachably mounted from the end caps.

  • Patent number: 4164784
Abstract: An adjustable flood light enclosed in a waterproof casing is mounted for unlimited rotation between spaced support legs fixed to a base. The light source within the enclosure is carried by a support leg through which its wiring passes and it does not rotate with the enclosure. The enclosure may be clamped to one or both support legs to secure it in any desired angular adjustment.
