Abstract: An engagement platform provides one or more engagement activities for users traveling in autonomous vehicles (AVs). An engagement activity may include a prompt (e.g., a conversation prompt or a game prompt) based on sensor data from sensors in the AV, such as interior or exterior cameras. The prompt may alternately or additionally be based on users' interests, e.g., interests determined based on users' ride history, including origin and destination locations, or interests determined based on prior engagement activities. Interior sensors may monitor users during the engagement activity, e.g., to determine whether to provide a new conversation prompt, or to determine a user's response to a game prompt.

Abstract: Architectures and techniques for assessing relative vehicle performance utilizing data gathered by monitoring other vehicles are disclosed. Operational information is gathered for a host platform and for at least one other platform that shares an operating environment with the host platform. Multiple evaluations are performed on the operational information for the host platform and on the operational information for at least one other platform. Host platform performance is evaluated based on results from the evaluations on the operational information from the host platform and on results from the operational information from at least one other platform. One or more operational parameters corresponding to the host platform are adjusted based on the evaluation.
