  • Publication number: 20250098394
Abstract: Photovoltaic devices having photoactive layers coupled to buffer layers are disclosed. Such devices may be transparent to visible light but absorb near-infrared light and/or ultraviolet light. The photovoltaic devices may include a p-phenylene layer that acts as a buffer layer. The photovoltaic devices may include one or more photoactive layers. The one or more photoactive layers may include a single planar heterojunction, a single bulk heterojunction (BHJ), or multiple stacked BHJs that have complementary absorption characteristics, among other possibilities.

  • Publication number: 20250098519
Abstract: Photoactive compounds are disclosed. The disclosed photoactive compounds include metal complexes with dipyrromethene-based ligands, which can be substituted with a variety of different side chains or groups or can include various fused ring configurations, such as including aromatic or heteroaromatic groups. The metal complexes may include two dipyrromethene-based ligands, which can be the same or different. The photoactive compounds can be used as photoactive materials in organic photovoltaic devices, such as visibly transparent or opaque photovoltaic devices.

  • Publication number: 20250070709
Abstract: An insulated glass unit (IGU) characterized by a transmitted IGU color (a*IGU; b*IGU) includes a photovoltaic structure characterized by a first transmitted color (a*1; b*1) and a low emissivity structure characterized by a second transmitted color (a*2; b*2). The first transmitted color and the second transmitted color are complementary.

  • Patent number: 9324095
Abstract: Identifying on-line advertising conversions includes identifying, at a computer server system, a plurality of reports from one or more computing devices, wherein each of the reports indicates a clock skew between one of the computing devices and a clock server system; using the clock skews to determine that two or more of the reports are likely from a common computing device; determining that the two or more of the reports are common, in that they correspond to display of an advertisement on the common computing device and to purchase of on-line content with the common computing device; and indicating that a purchase conversion occurred based on determining that the two or more of the reports are common.
