  • Publication number: 20250046287
Abstract: Sound dampening swiveling lugs for food waste disposers, food waste disposers having sound dampening swiveling lugs, and methods of making food waste disposers having sound dampening swiveling lugs are provided. Sound dampening swiveling lugs may include a lug portion, a fastening post, and a sound dampening material on a contact surface between the fastening post and the lug portion. Food waste disposers include a grinding section with a rotating shedder plate that includes at least one sound dampening swiveling lug. Methods of making a food waste disposer include attaching a sound dampening material to a contact surface between the fastening post and the lug portion of a sound dampening swiveling lug.

  • Patent number: 12163523
Abstract: A compressor includes a scroll and a discharge valve assembly mounted to the scroll. The discharge valve assembly is configured to control fluid flow through a discharge passage. The discharge valve assembly includes a first portion having a backer and a valve member. The first portion includes a discharge opening in communication with the discharge passage. The discharge valve assembly includes a second portion including a body having a top wall, an outer wall and an inner hub. The outer wall is spaced apart from and surrounds the inner hub, defining an inner passage therebetween in communication with the discharge opening. The backer is disposed between the valve member and the second portion. A portion of the outer wall engages the backer. The valve member is deflectable between a closed position restricting fluid flow through the discharge opening and an open position allowing fluid flow through the discharge opening.

  • Patent number: 11353022
Abstract: A compressor may include a shell assembly, orbiting and non-orbiting scrolls, a bearing housing, a bushing, a damper, and a fastener. The bearing housing includes a first aperture. The bushing may include an axial end abutting the bearing housing. The bushing may extend through a second aperture of the non-orbiting scroll. The bushing may include a third aperture. The damper may be received in a pocket that may be defined by and disposed radially between an outer diametrical surface of the bushing and an inner diametrical surface of the non-orbiting scroll. The damper may be at least partially disposed within the second aperture and may encircle the second portion of the bushing. The fastener may include a shaft portion and a flange portion. The shaft portion may extend through the third aperture and into the first aperture. The flange portion may contact a first axial end of the damper.
