  • Publication number: 20060141804
Abstract: A circuit element (such as an asperity sensor circuit (11)) as is formed (21) using semiconductor fabrication processing has a high resistance layer formed (22) thereover. The high resistance layer is preferably formed using semiconductor fabrication processing. The high resistance layer can be comprised of a variety of materials and can assume a wide variety of configurations.

  • Publication number: 20050086527
Abstract: A system and method for associating a list of recipient identifiers with an electronic message is provided. An application is launched in conjunction with a messaging application (207) on a messaging capable device (200). When a user initiates creation of an electronic message and enters at least one recipient's information (403) the application adds the recipient's information into a header of the electronic message (411) that is encrypted and embedded into the message. In addition a unique message identifier (409) that associates the message with a sender and recipients is added to the message. The message, header information, and any attachments are lastly encrypted into a message object (415) which cannot be edited by message recipients. Any subsequent forwarding of the message by a recipient follows a similar process such that a tree of custody of the electronic message is traceable.

  • Patent number: 5681096
Abstract: The invention is generally described as a housing having an inlet port for receiving brake fluid and two opposing outlet ports for delivering the fluid to brake cylinders. A fluid screw designed to seal either outlet port is provided on an actuator having a screw mounting and an actuator leg. Between the screw mounting and the actuator leg is a pivot holding the actuator. The movement of the actuator on this pivot is controlled by the movement of the actuator leg which is in turn controlled by the movement of a sliding armature which moves in a channel defined by the housing. The armature movement is, in turn, controlled by two opposing solenoids on either side of the channel. Springs bias the armature back to a central position. The armatures are controlled by a manual switch available to the operator.

  • Patent number: 5280813
Abstract: A system and method for loading particulate material into a dispenser. This system includes a dispenser for receiving and dispensing particulate material, and a deflection assembly to deflect particulate material fed into the dispenser. The deflection assembly is located adjacent an inlet of the dispenser, and includes a deflection cone and a plurality of outside fins or ribs. In use, a supply of a particulate material is directed onto the deflection cone, and this cone and the ribs connected thereto then direct that material outward and around the interior of the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 4854722
Abstract: An apparatus is described for dispensing a composition of coarse and fine particles, comprising a bin section and a cone section. The bin section holds a supply of the composition, and the cone section includes inner and outer frusto-cones for conducting downward, respectively, first and second portions of the composition discharged from the bin section. These portions re-mix in the area directly below an outlet of the inner cone as the material is discharged from the dispensing device.
