Abstract: The subject technology provides for receiving, via an application programming interface (API), a request from a client, the request including software configuration data for configuring data storage for supporting a workload of an application. A set of hardware performance characteristics for supporting the workload of the application is determined based at least in part on the software configuration data that includes a name of a respective software application and/or version of the software application. The subject technology determines a current set of available hardware resources that match the set of hardware performance characteristics. Using the current set of available hardware resources, a set of data stores are provisioned. The subject technology then provides, to the client, information related to a virtual mount point for provisioning the set of data stores to the application.

Abstract: A method of validating data in a multi-tenant network of a service provider may include storing a page in a network storage, where the page is associated with a tenant of the service provider. In response to a page request, the page may be served from the network storage to a computing device communicatively coupled to the multi-tenant network. The page in the network storage may be independently addressable using a uniform resource locator (URL). Data entered in at least one data field within the served page may be received. The received data may be validated by a validation service of the service provider, using a plurality of validation rules associated with the tenant. At least a portion of the plurality of validation rules may be based on the page stored in the network storage. Upon successful validation, the received data may be stored within the multi-tenant network.

For example, a database query associated with a first database format may be received. The first database format may be one of a plurality of database formats. A second database format may be determined based at least in part on a performance characteristic of the second database format being above a threshold. The second database format may be determined as a result of the received database query. Additionally, the second database format may also be one of the plurality of different database formats. Data communicated by the received database query may be processed according to the second database format.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing media objects by maintaining one unique location that the media object is stored to and accessible from. A media object is received by a computing system and a unique uniform resource identifier is determined based at least in part on identification information corresponding to the media object. The identification information is requested from a remote identification information maintenance service. The media object is provided to a storage location corresponding to the determined unique uniform resource identifier.

Abstract: Data may be managed by a mobile data management system. The system may receive data intended for a web service system location at a first location from an external source located at a second location. In some aspects, the data may be received via an application programming interface. The system may also cause storage of the received data in at least one memory while the system is at the second location. The system may further provide the received data to the web service system while at the first location.
