Abstract: The invention relates to locking means for telescopically adjustable tubes and includes a support which is mountable in an inner tube. A stem is connected to or is integral with the support and a resilient bushing member is provided on the stem. In addition, a locking member is mounted on the stem which is capable of engaging with an outer tube but that on operation of the invention the adjustable tubes are locked relative to one another.
