  • Publication number: 20260090876
Abstract: Methods and devices for tissue graft fixation include fixation devices attached to an adjustable fixation loop of suture without compromising the graft or requiring additional material to complete the repair. Other fixation devices are attachable to an independent adjustable suture system. Adjustable fixation loops minimize slip/creep of the suture within the loop.

  • Publication number: 20250134513
Abstract: Tissue repair devices described herein allow for meniscal root repair with sutures and anchors delivered by a needle. The needle houses two deployable anchors, each connected to a separate suture. The device also includes a push mechanism that allows for reliable anchor deployment through the needle. The needle can have various degrees of curvature to access the superior or inferior surfaces of the meniscal roots. Each advancement of the push mechanism by the surgeon expels an individual suture/anchor construct from the distal tip of the needle at the desired location.

  • Publication number: 20250049465
Abstract: A system for harvesting a tendon graft is disclosed, the system including a retractor, a guide and at least one harvesting tool. The retractor holds open an anatomic space in a patient above the tendon. The guide assembles with the retractor to orient a guide shaft along the retractor and thereby the anatomic space. A first harvesting tool and the guide include a plurality of surfaces that cooperate with each other to transect the tendon and form at least one side of the tendon graft, the plurality of surfaces cooperating to limit a trajectory and a depth of cut into the tendon and also limiting both ends of the translational extent of the harvesting tool along the tendon. A second harvesting tool may extend along the anatomic space formed by the retractor and form both a posterior cut along the tendon and transect a tendon graft end.

  • Publication number: 20230157703
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for determining and placing a first bony segment in relation with a second bony segment, both segments belonging to the same bone, including cutting said bone partially, to separate it into the first and second bony segment. The two bony segments are linked together by a bony hinge and placing the two boney segments in relation to each other may include distracting both bony segments around said hinge. The hinge may be configured to allow distraction of both bony segments around a single degree of freedom of the hinge and accommodate corrections in two substantially orthogonal planes.

  • Patent number: 9746402
Abstract: The present grip design includes a two-piece clamp with an interior space which forms a mold for the sample material. The two-piece clamp further includes undercut apertures which engage complementary tapered portions of upper and lower grips. The sample material can be poured to fill the mold formed within the two-piece clamp. The interior of the upper and lower grips includes a pattern, such as, but not limited to, a threaded pattern, in order to more firmly engage the sample. The samples may include soft materials, liquids, gels, compounds, powdered or similar materials. The grip may be used in connection with bioreactor or materials testing applications.
