  • Publication number: 20250075943
Abstract: A method of determining an operating configuration of a water heater that includes: a power cord connected to a receptacle; a housing; a battery disposed within the housing, and a water tank configured to hold a volume of water and having one or more heating elements. The method includes obtaining power availability data; and determining an operating configuration including one of: a full power configuration where the water tank operates at a maximum power greater than 120V input voltage based on power from both the receptacle and the battery or power solely from the battery, and a reduced power configuration where the water tank operates at a reduced power less than the maximum power, based on power solely from the receptacle or power solely from the battery.

  • Publication number: 20250071863
Abstract: A method of determining an operating configuration of a stove having: a cooktop having a plurality of heating regions; a power cord connected to a receptacle; a housing; a battery disposed within the housing, where the obtained stove use data comprises information regarding use of at least one of the heating regions of the cooktop. The method includes determining an operating configuration based at least in part on obtained stove use data and obtained power availability data, the determined operating configuration including one of: a full power configuration where the heating regions operate at a maximum power greater than 120V input voltage based on power from both the receptacle and the battery or power solely from the battery, and a reduced power configuration where the heating regions operate at a reduced power less than the maximum power, based on power solely from the receptacle or power solely from the battery.

  • Publication number: 20240206023
Abstract: An inductive heating adapter comprising a base portion that includes a planar first coil and a planar second coil. The inductive heating adapter further comprises an adapter portion that defines a curved cavity and includes a curved third coil that corresponds to the curved cavity, the adapter portion configured to hold a curved vessel within the curved cavity defined by the adapter portion. The inductive heating adapter further comprises an electrical connection between the base portion and the adapter portion. The base portion is configured to be disposed on a burner area of a stove top of an inductive stove with the curved vessel disposed within the curved cavity and the burner area of the inductive stove comprises a stove coil configured to wirelessly generate an electrical current in the base portion that causes inductive heating of the curved vessel disposed within the curved cavity.

  • Publication number: 20210236978
Abstract: An air purification device for purifying and recirculating air includes a housing, a filter mounted within the housing adjacent an inlet of the housing, a blower for drawing room air into the housing through the inlet, and an ionizer mounted at or adjacent both an exhaust portion of the blower and an outlet in the housing. Filtered air drawn into the housing by the blower is ionized immediately prior to being ejected from the housing. A silencer duct may be provided at the exhaust portion of the blower for mounting the ionizer and reducing noise.
