    Abstract: A module connector (102) for uninterrupted communication is described. The module connector (102) comprises a slot (602) for receiving connector pins (702) of an I/O module 500. The slot (602) has at least one pair of mating pins (606) to connect with the connector pins (702) of the I/O module (500). The at least one pair of mating pins (606) is normally closed in absence of the connector pins (702) in the slot (602). Further, the at least one pair of mating pins (606) in a normally closed state moves to an open state upon receiving the connector pins (702) of the I/O module (500) in the slot (602).
