    Abstract: A user of a genetic database may create and build upon their family tree in the database. For new users, creating a family tree can be difficult and time consuming. Even for users with established family trees, extending their family tree is a challenge requiring extensive research. Disclosed herein are embodiments for assisting users of a genetic database with building their family trees. In some embodiments, a method for assisting with constructing family trees includes receiving a target individual's genetic dataset. The method identifies a plurality of matched individuals who genetically match the target individual. The method identifies potential ancestors who are potential common ancestors between the target individual and one of the matched individuals. The method inputs a set of features related to the target individual to a machine learning model and filters the potential common ancestors to determine a subset of likely common ancestors for the target individual.

    Abstract: A lifter plate assembly for holding a window of a motor vehicle door assembly and facilitating adjustable movement of the window along a vertical direction, and method of construction thereof are provided. The lifter plate assembly includes a main body having a rail guide hook for sliding receipt of a window regulator rail. A window holder is fixed to the main body for fixed receipt of an edge of the window. A cable holder is coupled to the main body via an adjustment mechanism for fixed attachment to at least one cable. The adjustment mechanism is adjustable via a plurality of tool-receiving features to move the main body and the window holder relative to the cable holder along the vertical direction. Each tool-receiving feature is accessible along separate first, second and third axes from one another.

    Abstract: An actuator assembly of an actuation system for a closure member of a vehicle is provided. The actuator assembly includes an actuator housing including a sensor housing. The actuator assembly also includes an electric motor disposed in the actuator housing and configured to rotate a driven shaft operably coupled to an extensible member that is coupled to one of a body or the closure member for opening or closing the closure member. The actuator assembly also includes an actuator controller disposed in the sensor housing of the actuator housing and coupled to electric motor and an accelerometer configured to sense movement of the closure member. The actuator controller is configured to detect the movement of the closure member using the accelerometer. The actuator controller then controls the opening or closing of the closure member based on the movement of the closure member using the electric motor.

    Abstract: A lifter plate assembly for a motor vehicle window and method of assembly thereof is provided. The lifter plate assembly includes a main body having a rail guide hook for sliding receipt of window regulator rails. A pair of opposed spring fingers are disposed in the rail guide hook for biased engagement with the window regulator rails. A resilient cushion supports the spring fingers against yielding to maintain the spring fingers in biased engagement with the widow regulator rails. A window bracket is configured for fixed attachment to a window and has a tongue configured for sliding and snapping receipt in a receptacle of a window retainer plate of the main body. The receptacle has ribs or grooves and the tongue has the other of grooves or ribs, wherein the ribs and grooves interdigitate with one another to prevent relative fore/aft movement between the window bracket the window retainer plate.

    Abstract: A vehicle door includes inner and outer panels with a space between panels. Guide rails are mounted to the inner panel by an adjustable mounting assembly. The adjustable mounting assembly includes a first fastener, mounted to the rail, and a second fastener, mounted to the inner panel opposite the first fastener. A coupler interconnects the first and second fasteners along a common axis while providing a space between the ends of the fasteners. Apertures are provided near the bottom of the vehicle door to provide access to the couplers. Rotating the coupler with a wrench around the common axis alters the distance between the first and second fasteners.
