    Abstract: A system and method which employs atrial discrimination algorithms to distinguish between different atrial arrhythmias occurring in a patient for selecting an optimal pacing therapy corresponding to the type of arrhythmia identified. In response to the detection of an atrial rate above the atrial tracking rate, discrimination criteria are applied to a detected atrial activity signal to distinguish between different types of supraventricular tachycardia, such as fast atrial flutter and other atrial flutter at a relatively slower rate, which may be occurring in the patient. The pacer is controlled to provide pacing therapy to a heart in a manner corresponding to the type of supraventricular tachycardia identified. The output of an atrial discrimination algorithm may be tracked and the trend thereof used to improve therapy timing. Various embodiments are disclosed herein.

Inhibiting delivery of atrial therapy involves developing atrial intervals and ventricular intervals from sensed atrial and ventricular events, respectively. Delivery of atrial therapy is inhibited if the average atrial rate fails to exceed the average ventricular rate by at least a predetermined factor.

    Abstract: A system and method for providing pacing pulses after a cardioversion/defibrillation shock, where the pacing pulses have a pacing rate at an initial value. The pacing rate is decreased from the initial value until at least one intrinsic cardiac contraction is detected. In one embodiment, the pacing rate is decreased by a set amount after pacing a set number of cardiac cycles. Providing the set number of pacing pulses and decreasing the pacing rate by the set amount is then repeated until at least one intrinsic cardiac contraction is detected. An intrinsic cardiac rate is then determined from the at least one intrinsic cardiac contraction. The pacing rate is then increased and maintained to be above (i.e., greater than) the intrinsic cardiac rate.

    Abstract: A corner bracket is provided for use with a fabric supporting track assembly of a type adapted for installation of a fabric wall covering onto a wall. The corner bracket has a generally triangular configuration defining a generally L-shaped corner piece hingedly connected to a bracket base adapted for fixed attachment to the wall. The bracket base supports the corner piece within a corner of the wall, in alignment with horizontal and vertical components of the track assembly. The corner piece is hingedly movable between an easily accessed first position pivoted away from the wall corner for facilitated attachment of the fabric wall covering thereto, and a second position pressed into the wall corner for snap-fit interlock with the track components.

    Abstract: The assembly comprises first and second tracks of extruded polyvinyl chloride plastic which, when interfaced, become a hinged clamp. When snapped or clamped together, the tracks tighten and securely clamp fabrics of varying weights. By providing relatively elongated tracks, the installation of the fabric is greatly facilitated in that extended marginal edges of the fabric can be clamped in a single clamping motion. There is no need for a special tool requiring successive stuffing of the fabric into a biased slot and the labor and time involved therewith.

    Abstract: The product is a laminar composite of two or more adhesively bonded layers of sheet material, one of which has a corrugated surface contour at the interface between the layers. The layers are bonded together at the ridges of the corrugated surface of the one layer, and the bond on each ridge consists essentially of a series of relatively localized spots of a plastically deposited but adhesively set adhesive material. The spots are located at intervals spaced apart from one another lengthwise of the ridge, and are characterized with oblate cross sections in planes normal to the interface between the layers, resulting from the fact that the spots undergo compression in the plastic state thereof during the process. The bonding operation is accomplished by causing relative motion between the corrugated web and a series of spaced parallel lines of adhesive material which are disposed crosswise of the ridges of the web and contacted with the ridges so as to deposit the spots thereon.
