    Abstract: A plug for an aircraft lavatory drain port having a radially expandable portion and a resilient sealing member covering the expandable portion. A locking portion is connected for securing the plug in sealing position. The resilient sealing member includes an axially extended face for enclosing an air space in axial relationship with the radially expandable portion. Also, the resilient sealing member includes a radially facing annular portion mounted on the radially expandable portion. The radially expandable portion urges the radially facing annular portion into sealing engagement with the port as a first sealing capability and the axially extended face can collapse due to pressure acting thereon for urging a portion of that axial face into sealing engagement with the port as a second sealing capability.
