    Abstract: An improved dual lip radial shaft seal is disclosed. The free end of the dual lip seal extends toward the air side of the seal. Optionally, the dual lip seal has an oil side excluder lip seal, an air side dust excluder lip seal, an elastomeric static seal extending from the elastomeric portion of the dual lip seal. In another optional embodiment, a relief groove is formed in the seal. A unitized seal version is also disclosed with two embodiments.
