The composition comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable combination of one or more oxysterols and a suitable carrier. The present oxysterol composition can be used therapeutically, prescribed to individuals who are required to reduce cholesterol intake. Alternatively, the composition can used as a dietary supplement by any individual desiring to moderate cholesterol intake.
