    Abstract: A ladies handbag having a main handbag component and a separate detachable organizer clutch purse component is disclosed. The clutch purse has an organizer section for the convenient reception and display of cosmetic items and attaches to the main handbag at a hinged rear flap, or, in another embodiment, is receivable in an inner pocket of the main handbag. In one embodiment the organizer clutch is provided with expandable loops which conveniently retain cosmetic accessories in place. A viewing slot in the organizer clutch permits the user identification and access to the contained items. The organizer clutch includes a closure flap carrying a make-up mirror.

Various storage components such as a removable card carrying case, pocketbook, key retainer and pouch are secured at said partitions. An external storage pouch for letters and documents is secured to one side of the handbag. Interior pockets for sundry items are also provided. In the closed position, a hinged external flap obscures the internal organizer storage components for security and to give a relatively trim and chic exterior appearance.

    Abstract: A ladies handbag is provided with an external flap on either side thereof. Each flap is hingedly affixed to lie in juxtaposition against the respective side of the handbag when closed. One flap opens to reveal tiers of document stowage pockets carried on the side of the handbag. A plurality of transparent document enclosures are arranged upon an interior side of the other flap. One flap is hingedly attached along the top thereof while the other flap is secured on the bottom thereof. A patch pocket may be affixed to the external side of a flap.
