Abstract: A neck ring has inwardly projecting fingers for engaging a threaded neck of a gas cylinder. The fingers are flexible and sloped upwardly to securely hold the neck ring on the cylinder while permitting removal without damaging the neck ring. Identification labels are mounted on flat, translucent or opaque tags. The separate tags are hinged and spaced apart to accommodate differently configured cylinders.

Abstract: The pairer and holder has a nylon loop which has ends thereof joined to swivel couplings. Beads of the couplings are journalled in given chambers in sections of a clasp. Other chambers in the clasp sections have, respectively, a threaded screw, with a projecting end, and a threaded bore. The projecting end of the screw is received in the bore to close the loop. The method of the invention specifies forming holes in sock pairs to receive the projecting end of the screw, and a leading end of the screw-supporting section, whereupon the screw is threaded into the bore. Hence, the holed sock pairs are held together by the pairer and holder.

Abstract: An openable and refastenable loop having combination closure and insertion means comprising cooperating male and female threaded sections, each section being joined to the loop by swivel means permitting axial rotation of each threaded section independent of the loop to which it is attached. Loop ports are provided in each sock to be paired, and the threaded sections are sufficiently long to permit insertion of the loop through the ports.
