  • Publication number: 20240090851
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for monitoring and displaying a patient status. In one example, the patient monitoring system includes a display device configured to display a patient status view include on or more multidimensional plots overlaying more than one of real time values, historical values, and upper and lower threshold values for a plurality of patient parameters, and additionally being configured to display an abbreviated representation of the one or more multidimensional plots that can be reached directly from the patient status view. The abbreviated representation is displayed in an unlaunched state, and displays a limited version of the respective multidimensional plot and is selectable to launch and enable the respective multidimensional plot to be seen.

  • Patent number: 10667766
Abstract: Handheld patient-monitoring device is provided that includes a touchscreen having a display area. The touchscreen is configured to present a first chart section in the display area of the touchscreen. The device is also configured to detect an input gesture on the touchscreen that is indicative of a swipe along the touchscreen. The device is also configured to replace, in response to detecting the input gesture, the first chart section with a second chart section such that the second chart section is presented in the display area and the first chart section is not presented in the display area. The second chart section has at least one parameter region that displays information relating to a respective patient parameter. Replacement of the first chart section with the second chart section is visually indicated to the user.

  • Patent number: 10395770
Abstract: System is configured to present a health-monitoring window in an operator display. The health-monitoring window includes a set of graph regions. Each of the graph regions of the set has a background and a signal line of a patient parameter. For at least one of the graph regions of the set, the processor is also configured to determine that the patient parameter for a designated time is significant based upon a predetermined standard. The processor is also configured to provide a reference color to the background for the designated time. The reference color includes at least one of a plurality of potential reference colors. The background for the designated time has a fixed position with respect to the parameter signal line such that an area of the background having the reference color appears to move along the horizontal axis with the parameter signal line as time progresses.

  • Publication number: 20180168450
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for an early visualization alarm for a medical monitoring system prior to a critical patient state are provided. The systems and methods receive physiological characteristics of a patient, calculate a physiological value based on the physiological characteristics, determine a presentation style based on a comparison of the physiological value to the first and second predetermined thresholds, and display the physiological value on a display utilizing the presentation style.
