  • Publication number: 20240080418
Abstract: An illumination system including a light-emitting element, a wavelength conversion element, at least a first light homogenizing element and a second light homogenizing element is provided. The wavelength conversion element is configured to convert the excitation light beam into a conversion light beam, and through the wavelength conversion element, the excitation light beam and the conversion light beam sequentially form an illumination light beam. The at least one first light homogenizing element is configured to adjust a shape of a light spot formed by the excitation light beam on the wavelength conversion element. The second light homogenizing element is disposed on a transmission path of the illumination light beam from the wavelength conversion element, wherein a shape of a light incident surface of the at least one first light homogenizing element is the same as a shape of a light incident surface of the second light homogenizing element.

  • Publication number: 20230224440
Abstract: An illumination system including a light source, a wavelength conversion device and a first light-uniforming element is provided. The light source emits an excitation beam. A light wavelength conversion region and a transmission region of the wavelength conversion device sequentially insert on the transmission path of the excitation beam at different time periods. When the light wavelength conversion region inserts on the transmission path of the excitation beam, a conversion beam is provided. When the transmission region inserts on the transmission path of the excitation beam, a non-conversion excitation beam is provided. The non-conversion excitation beam and the conversion beam penetrate the first light-uniforming element to form an illumination beam. The conversion beam is reflected for X time(s) and the non-conversion excitation beam is reflected for Y time(s) on the transmission path between the wavelength conversion device and the first light-uniforming element. A projection apparatus is also provided.

  • Patent number: 11693300
Abstract: An illumination system, including a laser light source, a wavelength conversion module, and a polarization conversion unit, and a projection device are provided. A laser beam of the laser light source is converted to a wavelength conversion beam by a wavelength conversion region of the wavelength conversion module. The polarization conversion unit has multiple first polarization conversion regions and multiple second polarization conversion regions, and includes multiple phase delay sheets correspondingly located on multiple surfaces facing the laser light source and located in the second polarization conversion regions. The wavelength conversion beam with a second polarization state leaves the polarization conversion unit after passing through a surface of the polarization conversion unit in the first polarization conversion regions facing the laser light source.

  • Patent number: 11592736
Abstract: A homogenizing element includes a light incident end, a light exit end, a first surface, a second surface, a reflective layer and a first dichroic layer. The first surface extends from the light incident end to the light exit end. The second surface extends from the light incident end to the light exit end, and the second surface overlaps the first surface and is non-parallel to the first surface. The first dichroic layer is disposed on the first surface and configured to allow a first beam to pass therethrough and reflect a second beam. The reflective layer is disposed on the second surface and configured to reflect the first beam. A projection device adopting the homogenizing element is also provided. The homogenizing element and the projection device provided can adjust the beam angles of different color beams respectively.
