Abstract: A system for controlling a notification event and a method thereof are provided. An electronic device may include: a communication interface configured to communicate with another electronic device; and a controller configured to transmit information about a notification event to the other electronic device through the communication interface when it is determined that a battery level at a first time is less than or equal to a preset threshold value, and when the notification event is scheduled for a second time which is within a pre-defined time interval from the first time.

Abstract: A multi-domain liquid crystal display includes a plurality of picture elements arranged in an array of rows and columns and controlled by a line inversion drive scheme. Each picture element has a pixel electrode and at least one control electrode insulated from each other. All the control electrodes in the same row or the same column of picture elements are connected to the same signal source to provide a voltage difference between the control electrodes and the pixel electrodes in the same row or the same column of picture elements to produce fringe fields.
