    Abstract: A photomask design correction method is provided. The photomask design correction method includes the following steps. A layer information data is provided. An OPC process is performed on the layer information data to obtain a first photomask data. A photomask is fabricated based on the first photomask data. A pattern information data of the photomask is obtained after the photomask is fabricated. The difference between the pattern information data and a database of the OPC process is analyzed. An OPC model of the OPC process is corrected based on the difference to obtain a corrected OPC model. The OPC process is performed using the corrected OPC model on the layer information data to obtain a second photomask data.

Each of the second patterns is decomposed into a third pattern and a fourth pattern, wherein the third pattern and the fourth pattern have an overlapping portion, and a pattern formed by overlapping the third pattern and the fourth pattern is the same as the second pattern. The third patterns and the first pattern adjacent to the fourth pattern are designated as first photomask patterns of a first photomask. The fourth patterns and the first pattern adjacent to the third pattern are designated as second photomask patterns of a second photomask.

Moreover, the tray has a protruding structure located on the surface of the tray adjacent to the protecting cover. Furthermore, pads could be substituted for the abovementioned protruding structures.

    Abstract: This invention discloses a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism comprises a tray, a locking element, a solenoid, a linked apparatus, a first arm and a boss. The locking element has a protrusion and is rotably fixed on the tray. The solenoid is fixed on the tray and supplies a magnetic force to an active block. The linked apparatus is connected with the active block of the solenoid and is rotably fixed on the tray to push the locking element. The first arm is rotably fixed on the tray to push the linked apparatus and has a protruding rib to push against the protrusion of the locking element. The boss cooperates with the locking element when the tray is loaded. According to this mechanism, the sounds resulted from the locking element and the first arm are happened at the same time.

The positioning apparatus includes at least a guide rod for supporting an optical pickup head, a chassis and a spindle plate for supporting a spindle motor. According to the present invention, the accumulating tolerance produced by the assembling is reduced, and the off-center distance between the spindle motor and the laser beam emitted from the optical pickup head is controlled within the precision range.     Abstract: A slot-in optical disk drive with a transmission belt includes a base chassis with sliding slots on two sides for accommodating sliding boards. Each of the sliding boards on two sides of the base chassis having a rail member with a guide slot. A driving pulley is disposed on one end of the rail member of the sliding board on one side of the base chassis. A transmission belt is put on the driving pulley and the guide slot. By the matching of the driving mechanism and the driving pulley, the driving pulley is rotated to drive the transmission belt. One end of a synchronous link is disposed on each of the sliding boards while the other end thereof is connected with a synchronously gear. The two synchronously gears engage with each other. When the optical disk is loaded into the disk drive, the optical disk enters the guide slots on two sides and pushes the sliding boards to move toward the two sides of the base chassis.

    Abstract: A slot-loading optical drive structure is proposed. It includes a base with a gearing for driving a sliding body to move a sliding plate. The sliding plate has a positioning slot for guiding a push rod to push an optical disc into the optical drive. Thereby, a positioning rod can presses one side of the optical disc, the push rod can presses the back end of the optical disc, and a rod connection means can presses the front end of the optical disc. Hence the optical disc can be positioned at a fixed location to make the central hole of the optical disc correctly aligned to the center of the turntable of the traverse inside the optical drive. Thus, the optical disc can be settled on the turntable and the optical drive can rotate the optical disc for data access.
