Abstract: A flat panel lighting apparatus, which makes it easy to replace a circuit board with LEDs thereon, is provided. The flat panel lighting apparatus includes a backplate, a driving unit, a light guide plate, a frame, a bracket, a circuit board, a connector and a cable connecting the driving unit and the circuit board. The frame with an opening portion is disposed at an outer periphery of the backplate and the light guide plate. The bracket is detachably coupled to the opening portion of the frame. The circuit board with light sources, is disposed in a space between the frame and the light guide plate, and is replaceable in a sliding type through the opening portion of the frame when the bracket is decoupled from the frame. The connector has a female terminal attached to the circuit board and a male terminal detachably coupled to the female terminal.

Abstract: Spring-loaded contacts having an improved reliability. One example may provide spring-loaded contacts having a reduced likelihood of entanglement between a spring and a plunger. For example, a piston may be placed between a plunger and a spring. The piston may have a head portion that is wider than the diameter of the spring and located between the spring and the plunger to isolate the spring and the plunger. In these and other examples, an additional object, such as a sphere, may be placed between the plunger and spring. In another example, two additional objects, such as two spheres, may be placed between a plunger and piston.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus for providing a panorama image and a controlling method thereof are provided. The method includes acquiring photograph setting values of first images photographed respectively through a plurality of cameras, resetting a photograph setting value to be applied to at least one of the plurality of cameras based on the acquired photograph setting values and generating a panorama image comprising second images photographed through the plurality of cameras using the reset photograph setting value.

The method of synthesizing images includes determining an object region for synthesizing a second image in a first image, determining a warping value of the object region, and synthesizing the second image deformed according to the warping value with the object region.

Abstract: Structures, methods, and apparatus that provide connector receptacles that have a reduced tendency to scratch and otherwise mar connector inserts, have an aesthetically-pleasing appearance, and have an improved tactile response when inserts are inserted. Various examples reduce scratches and wear by utilizing domes, cylinders, balls, or other structures as finger contacts in a connector receptacle. Another example provides aesthetically-pleasing connector receptacle enclosures by forming receptacle enclosures using the same type of material, or material having the same or similar color or texture, as is used for enclosing the electronic device that includes the receptacle. Another example provides an aesthetically-pleasing receptacle enclosure by forming receptacle enclosures that are, in part or in whole, contiguous or formed with the housing. Another embodiment provides a connector receptacle having a housing where a portion of the housing has been removed to save space.

Abstract: Connector systems may include a connector receptacle and connector plug or insert. The connector receptacle may include a tongue. A first plurality of contacts may be formed on a top surface of the tongue. A first ground pad may be located on a top surface of tongue, and a shield may be formed around the tongue. The connector insert may include a housing and a conductive shield around the housing behind a leading edge of the connector insert. A front edge of the shield may be folded into an opening at the leading edge. In other examples, the receptacle shield may include one or more fingers. These fingers may contact the connector insert shield to form a ground path. One or more of these fingers may engage openings in the insert shield to provide a retention force between the connector insert and receptacle.

Abstract: In a display controller for generating a video sync signal using an external clock, he display controller includes an initializer configured to initialize an internal parameter in response to a frame start signal. A sync signal generation circuit is configured to count the external clock, increase the internal parameter, and generate the video sync signal according to a result of comparing the internal parameter that has been increased with a setting value. An original use of the external clock may not be generating the video sync signal.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method that may provide security using complex biometric information are provided. The electronic device includes a sensor module configured to sense two or more pieces of biometric information and a controller configured to execute a command corresponding to biometric combination information when the biometric combination information corresponding to the two or more pieces of biometric information sensed through the sensor module exist. As described above, through use of the complex biometric information combined of two or more pieces of biometric information, more strengthened security may be provided to various objects in the electronic device.

Abstract: A system on chip includes a display serial interface (DSI) host device, a camera serial interface (CSI) host device, a first register, and a loopback control circuit. The first register is configured to store a first flag indicating whether the system on chip is operating in a loopback mode or a non-loopback mode. The loopback control circuit is configured to loop back data generated by the DSI host device to the CSI host device in response to the first flag indicating that the system on chip is operating in the loopback mode.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a heat-resistant component using granules. More particularly, the method of manufacturing a heat-resistant component includes a step of preparing granules by spraying a mixture including a metal powder and a slurry material into a housing equipped with a disc and rotating the disc; a step of preparing a molded object by compression-molding the granules; a step of preparing a sintered object by sintering the molded object at about 1,000° C. to about 1,600° C.; and a step of adjusting dimensions by cutting the sintered object, wherein the housing is sealed and hot air at about 70° C. to about 200° C. is supplied into the housing.

Abstract: Connector inserts having a high signal integrity and low insertion loss by shielding signal contacts. One example may provide one or more ground contacts between a front opening and signal pins of a connector insert. These ground contacts may have sufficient lever arm to provide a good contact to a corresponding contact in a connector receptacle. To avoid excessive length in the connector insert, embodiments of the present invention may stack a portion of the ground contact above the signal contacts in the connector insert. To reduce excessive capacitance that would otherwise reduce signal impedance, one or more openings may be formed in the ground contacts. To prevent signal contacts from shorting to a shield through this opening, the opening may be covered by tape. The ground contacts may be positioned to avoid encountering power contacts in the receptacle when the insert is inserted into the receptacle.

One example may provide a connector system including a connector insert having a plurality of contacts along a top or bottom, or both top and bottom, of a connector insert, where first contacts in the plurality of contacts may be used to convey power, ground, or data and where second contacts in the plurality of contacts are used for ground. The second contacts may be arranged to have contacting portions that are positioned in the insert at different heights relative to the top or bottom of the connector insert and at different depths relative to a front opening of the connector insert.

A connector insert may utilize a crimping piece to crimp a braiding of a cable. The crimping piece may be fixed to an attraction plate and a board in the insert for mechanical reliability. Retention clips may be used to fix a shell to the attraction plate. A connector receptacle may employ a magnetically conductive label to improve holding strength.
