Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and method for monitoring a secondary battery. The device for monitoring a secondary battery may include a charger/discharger connected to electrode terminals of a secondary battery and configured to measure a voltage of the secondary battery or apply a current to the secondary battery, a temperature measurement part configured to measure temperatures of the secondary battery and the charger/discharger, a temperature adjustment part configured to adjust the temperature of the charger/discharger, and a control part configured to control the temperature adjustment part, wherein the control part is configured to adjust the temperature of the charger/discharger by controlling the temperature adjustment part based on temperature information received from the temperature measurement part.

Abstract: A battery pack includes battery cells capable of reducing flow resistance of cooling fluid through inlets for inflow of cooling fluid and outlets for outflow of cooling fluid, increasing driving efficiency to form a forced flow of cooling fluid due to the reduced flow resistance or a reduced pressure drop caused by the reduced flow resistance, and reducing temperature variations on different sides of the battery cells, thereby preventing local overheating.
