  • Patent number: 9787419
Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for communication in a TDD (Time Division Duplex) system. A terminal is notified of a change in a first UL-DL setup from a base station during a first change period and receives a second UL-DL setup updated during a second change period. The terminal refreshes a buffer for an ongoing HARQ (Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest) process on the basis of the first UL-DL setup according to the reception of the second UL-DL setup.

  • Publication number: 20170279563
Abstract: A method is provided for performing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) by a user equipment (UE). An uplink (UL) grant for a first subframe of a second serving cell is received through a first serving cell. UL data in the first subframe of the second serving cell is transmitted according to the UL grant. When a not-acknowledgement (NACK) for the UL data is received through a physical HARQ indicator channel (PHICH) in a subframe i of the first serving cell, the UE performs a non-adaptive retransmission for the UL data in a second subframe of the second serving cell. When a PHICH resource corresponding to the UL data is not present in the subframe i, the UE does not perform the non-adaptive retransmission in the second subframe of the second serving cell.

  • Patent number: 9756620
Abstract: A method for transmitting uplink control information by a communication apparatus configured with a plurality of cells including a Primary Cell (PCell) and a Secondary Cell (SCell) in a wireless communication system. Only one Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) is received on the PCell among the plurality of cells in a first subframe. Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information about the PDSCH is transmitted through a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) in a second subframe configured for Scheduling Request (SR) transmission. For a positive SR in the second subframe, the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted using a SR PUCCH resource. For a negative SR in the second subframe, the HARQ-ACK information is transmitted using a HARQ-ACK PUCCH resource different from the SR PUCCH resource.

  • Patent number: 9756699
Abstract: A sensor interface includes on-chip relaxation oscillator circuit and a PLL that operate cooperatively to generate a highly accurate clock signal on-chip using low-power components. A photodiode generates a current signal based on an optical signal that is representative of a sensor signal. An ADC that operates based on the highly accurate clock signal generates a digital signal based on the current signal generated by the photodiode, and a processor processed the digital signal to estimate sensor data within the sensor signal. Examples of characteristics that may be sensed can include environmental characteristics (e.g., temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.) and/or biomedical characteristics (e.g., body temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, etc.). If desired, an amplifier processes the photodiode-provided current signal before it is provided to the ADC. Also, one or more CDACs that generate feedback currents may be used to reduce noise sensitivity of the sensor interface.

  • Patent number: 9756585
Abstract: A method of adjusting a transmit power for signals in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) sets a first transmit power for a first signal and a second transmit power for a second signal. If a total transmit power of the first transmit power for the first signal and the second transmit power for the second signal exceeds a maximum transmit power, the UE scales the first transmit power for the first signal and the second transmit power for the second signal. The first transmit power for the first signal and the second transmit power for the second signal are scaled with a scaling factor parameter. Values of the scaling factor parameter are the same across a plurality of serving cells.

  • Patent number: 9699382
Abstract: An optical image stabilizer includes a motion sensor configured to sense a movement of a camera, and a controller configured to move a lens module based on the movement of the camera. The optical image stabilizer enters a standby mode based on an OIS turn-off command being received from a host, in response to the camera being turned off or a camera function being executed in a background during a stage in which an optical image stabilization (OIS) operation is performed. A portion of the functional blocks of the optical image stabilizer is turned off when a lens control is not performed even when the optical image stabilizer is being operated, thereby decreasing power consumption. Functional blocks as small as possible may be operated when the optical image stabilizer is not operated to decrease power consumption in a smartphone or a camera in which the optical image stabilizer is embedded.
