  • Patent number: 8692765
Abstract: A 2D/3D image switching display device includes an image display unit and an image switching unit coupled to the image display unit. The image switching unit includes first and second transparent substrates and first and second transparent conducting elements installed on the first and second transparent substrates respectively. An electrochromic layer and an electrolytic layer are formed on the first and second transparent substrates sequentially. The electrochromic layer produce a color change according to the switching status of the image display unit After a stereo image divided into left and right eye images is received by naked eyes, no moire pattern will be produced, so that no additional light shielding device using a parallax barrier is required for displaying stereo images, and the 2D/3D image switching display device can change a light-shielding angle for adjusting a stereo image display according to the viewing angle.

  • Patent number: 8212452
Abstract: In a light-transmitting vibration unit and the module thereof, which the vibration unit comprises a first and a second substrates stacked sequentially with each other, and made of a conductive polymer material, such that both first and second substrates have light transmittance and uniform resistance, and after a vibration driven component is electrically coupled to the first and second substrates, an electric field will be acted for converting electric energy into mechanical energy to produce vibrations. If the vibration unit is coupled directly to a touch-sensitive display unit, an image displayed by the touch-sensitive display unit will be able to pass through the vibration unit, and the vibrations produced by the vibration unit will be more directly transmitted to a touch object.

  • Publication number: 20110248934
Abstract: A contactless touch panel comprises a first transparent substrate, a plurality of planar (or miniaturized) microsensors dispersedly arranged on a surface of the first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate stacked on the first transparent substrate to cover the microsensors, and a detecting element electrically connected to the microsensors. Thus, when a touching object approaches (does not touch) the touch panel, the microsensors sense the touching object via an electric field or a magnetic field and generate sensing signals sent to the detecting element according to changes in the electric field or the magnetic field and their strength. The detecting element determines a position of the touching object above the touch panel to achieve the purpose of non-contact control.

  • Publication number: 20100328053
Abstract: An array-type tactile feedback touch panel includes a touch unit, a central processing unit (CPU), a vibration unit, and a display unit. The vibration unit has a plurality of thin vibrators. When the display unit displays a touch frame and a touch body performs a touch motion on the touch unit, the touch unit records a motion track during the touch motion and transmits the motion track to the CPU. Then, the vibration unit receives the motion track, and drives the vibrators under corresponding positions of the motion track to generate vibrations. Therefore, during the touch motion, a partial tactile feedback is generated at touch points of the touch body, and the tactile feedback effect is generated sequentially according to the motion track of the touch body.
