    Abstract: A drain cover is adapted for covering a drain device which is mounted to a drain carrier. The drain cover includes a grid member and a weight member. The grid member has a coupling portion and a grid portion that is adapted to be disposed on the drain carrier and to surround the drain device. The grid portion is flexible, cooperates with the coupling portion to define a receiving space, and is formed with a plurality of grid holes. At least one of the coupling portion and the grid portion has a thermochromic section that is capable of changing colors due to a change in temperature. The weight member is coupled to the coupling portion of the grid member, and is adapted to be disposed over the valve of the drain device.

Luminescent dyes and their aggregated particulates with larger diameter are dispersed in the waveguide body to scatter light and transform the first light of the external light into a second light, wherein the wavelength of the second light is longer than the wavelength of the first light. Compared to conventional techniques, the use of luminescent dyes of the present invention can be aggregated into particulates with larger diameter to enhance the power conversion efficiency of the photovoltaic cell, without providing a scattering layer, in order to reduce the production cost and the element complexity of the photovoltaic system. A manufacturing method for a photovoltaic system is also disclosed.

    Abstract: An illumination system comprises a main waveguide, a scattering structure, and an extending waveguide. The main waveguide includes an incident face and a surface opposite the incident face, wherein external light passes through the incident face into the main waveguide. The scattering structure is disposed on or close to the surface of the main waveguide so as to scatter the external light transmitted into the main waveguide. The extending waveguide has an illuminating surface and a joint interface between itself and the main waveguide. The joint interface is not shaded by the scattering structure and allows the scattered external light to pass through the illuminating surface to illuminate an illuminated area. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the illumination system is simple and efficiently collecting the external light in a broader incident angle to provide illumination. A method for manufacturing the illumination system is also disclosed.
