  • Publication number: 20240268141
Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device (e.g., a display device or a lighting device) comprising the OLED are described. An emissive layer includes a red emitting material layer, a yellow-green emitting material layer and a green emitting material layer disposed sequentially between two electrodes, where each of the emitting material layers has controlled thickness and includes at least one host with controlled energy level. The OLED and the organic light emitting device have improved pure color luminous efficiency and color gamut, as well as luminous efficiency and luminous lifespan.

  • Publication number: 20240206330
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an organic light emitting diode (OLED) where adjacent emitting material layers includes hosts with different LUMO energy level and/or electron mobility. A first emitting material layer including a first host with relatively slow electron mobility and/or relatively high LUMO energy level is disposed adjacently to a hole transport layer and a second emitting material layer including a second host with relatively fast electron mobility and/or relatively low LUMO energy level is disposed adjacent to an electron transport layer. No exciplex between hole transporting material and the first host is not formed while exciplex between the hole transporting material and the second host is formed so that exciton loss can be minimized. An OLED and an organic light emitting device with low driving voltage and low power consumption and beneficial luminous property and luminous lifetime can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20240081146
Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) includes an emissive layer with at least one emitting part includes at least one emitting material layer, a first electron transport layer and a second electron transport layer disposed sequentially between two facing electrodes, wherein the first electron transport layer includes a first electron transporting material of a benzimidazole-based compound substituted with at least one spiro-structured fluorenyl group and the second electron transport layer includes a second electron transporting material of a benzimidazole-based compound substituted with at least one anthracenyl group. The first electron transport including the first electron transport material with excellent thermal stability is disposed adjacently to the emitting material layer so that the OLED can maintain good luminescent intensity in an environment of high temperature and implement beneficial luminous properties.
