Abstract: The present invention relates to a medium cultivation system including: a cultivation bed in which plants are placed and which allows the plants to be cultivated by means of a nutrient solution; a nutrient solution tank in which the nutrient solution to be supplied to the cultivation bed is stored; and an apparatus for sterilizing a nutrient solution which sterilizes waste nutrient solution, discharged from the cultivation bed, for reuse or disposal or sterilizes the nutrient solution stored in the nutrient solution tank for supply to the cultivation bed, wherein the apparatus for sterilizing the nutrient solution is provided with a sterilizing unit, which sterilizes the nutrient solution to be sterilized, by supplying a sterilizing gas in the form of bubbles to the nutrient solution to be dissolved therein, and a sterilizing gas generator, which generates the sterilizing gas.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a Dunaliella salina OH214 strain having an improved ability to produce pigments, and in particular lutein. As it is possible to produce carotenoid pigments, specifically xanthophylls, with the Dunaliella salina OH214 strain by consuming less energy, it is possible to efficiently produce pigments at an industrial level. In addition, the Dunaliella salina OH214 strain can be applied as a raw material for foods, health functional foods, and pharmaceuticals, containing pigments. Moreover, the Dunaliella salina OH214 strain is a domestic native microalga in Korea and thus does not cause any GMO issues, it is possible to reduce costs by using seawater as a culture medium in Korea, and the effect of related industrial development can be expected.

Abstract: A pigment composition according to an embodiment includes aluminum flakes coated with a plurality of metal oxide layers and TiO2 coated with a metal oxide layer, thus having explosion stability. The pigment composition may be prepared by mixing with TiO2 coated with a metal oxide layer having lower apparent specific gravity as compared to other plate-shaped inorganic particles. The pigment composition can have stability against a thermite reaction by aluminum and metal oxides while preventing deterioration of saturation and opacity.
