Abstract: A crack-resistant composite wood construction includes a first wooden body and a second wooden body. The first wooden body has a natural wood grain in a first wood grain direction, and includes a first juncture surface, and at least a first crack-resistant groove which is formed in the first juncture surface and which is elongated in the first wood grain direction. The second wooden body has a natural wood grain in a second wood grain direction, and includes a second juncture surface which is adhered to the first juncture surface, and at least a second crack-resistant groove which is formed in the second juncture surface and which is elongated in the second wood grain direction.

Abstract: A wood laminated construction element includes a wooden surface piece and a wooden bonded body. The wooden surface piece has a natural wood grain in a first wood grain direction, and includes two end segments and a connection segment disposed between the end segments. The wooden bonded body includes at least an end wood piece and at least a connection wood piece. Abstract: A method for making modular armrest includes the steps of providing at least fourteen blank wood pieces, arranging the blank wood pieces in juxtaposed relationship, bonding the arranged blank wood pieces to obtain a bonded blank assembly, and marking four sawlines to divide a front surface of the bonded blank assembly into five trapezoid zones, the middle tree of which has the same surface area. Among the three middle trapezoid zones, the inbetween is an inverted form of each of the flank ones such that the inbetween corresponds to a widthwise profile of the modular armrest while each of the flank ones corresponds to an inverted form of the widthwise profile.
