The driver seat airbag apparatus includes an airbag module including an airbag cushion and an inflator, and provided in rear of a functional unit at a center portion of a steering wheel, and an actuator provided at the steering wheel and connected to the functional unit, and in operation thereof, the actuator being configured to move the functional unit to expand an unfolding space of the airbag cushion between the functional unit and the airbag module.
