  • Patent number: 9609736
Abstract: Disclosed are a touch panel and a method of manufacturing the same. A touch panel includes: a substrate on which an active area and an inactive area are defined, in which the substrate includes a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a third lateral side, and a fourth lateral side surrounding the active area and the inactive area is disposed at only two of the first lateral side, the second lateral side, the third lateral side, and the fourth lateral side; a sensing electrode pattern on the active area; and a wire pattern connected to the sensing electrode pattern, wherein the wire pattern is disposed at the inactive area. A use region on a front surface of the touch panel is maximized by removing a bezel formed at a side of the touch panel to improve convenience of a user.
