  • Publication number: 20200057326
Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel including a pixel array substrate, an opposite substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of first bumps, a first inorganic transparent insulating layer and a sealant is provided. The opposite substrate faces the pixel array substrate. The liquid crystal layer is located between the pixel array substrate and the opposite substrate. The plurality of first bumps are located between the pixel array substrate and the opposite substrate. The first inorganic transparent insulating layer is located on the plurality of first bumps and completely covers the opposite substrate. The sealant surrounds the liquid crystal layer. The sealant covers the plurality of first bumps. The liquid crystal display panel of the disclosure effectively blocks the moisture infiltrating from the sealant.

  • Patent number: 8848144
Abstract: A pixel structure and a display panel are provided. The pixel structure is configured on a substrate that has at least one first display region and at least one second display region adjacent thereto. The pixel structure includes an active device, a protection layer, a reflective pattern, and a pixel electrode. The active device is configured on the substrate and located in the first display region. The protection layer is configured on the substrate, covers the active device, and is located in both the first and second display regions. The reflective pattern is configured on the protection layer, located in the first display region, and exposes a portion of the protection layer located in the second display region. The reflective pattern is doped with a fluorescence material. The pixel electrode is configured on the reflective pattern and the portion of the protection layer exposed by the reflective pattern.

  • Publication number: 20120120330
Abstract: A stereoscopic display device includes a reactive mesogen layer disposed inside the stereoscopic display, such that a backlight source has a first polarization state and a second polarization state after passing the reactive mesogen layer. The manufacturing method includes the following steps. First, a liquid crystal layer and a reactive mesogen layer are formed between a first substrate and a second substrate, wherein the first substrate includes at least one first eye image region and a second eye image region. Then, render the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the first eye image region and the second eye image region a first state and a second state, respectively. A first exposure step is performed on the reactive mesogen layer for emitting a first exposure light source passing the liquid crystal layer to induce photopolymerization reactions in the reactive mesogen layer. Subsequently, a backlight source is provided.
