    Abstract: A padlock includes a housing with a notch, a shackle having a pivoting portion, which is disposed in the housing and axially moveable and pivotable, and a free end disposed in the housing and passable through the notch when the pivoting portion is pivoted. A combination controlled lock unit is adapted for controlling an axial movement of the pivoting portion for enabling the free end to move away from the housing to unlock the padlock. A key controlled lock unit includes a rotatable plug and a block member with a block portion rotatable along with the plug between a locking position where the block portion blocks the notch to stop the free end of the shackle from passing through the notch, and an unlocking position for allowing the free end of the shackle to pass through the notch when the pivoting portion is pivoted to unlock the padlock.

    Abstract: A combination-changeable complex lock includes a movable plate, a combination lock, and a sliding member. The combination lock is composed of two notched rotating discs, two gearwheels, and a combination-alteration control device. The combination-alteration control device is rotatable to separate the gearwheels from the notched rotating discs for allowing change of the set combination. The sliding member is controllable by the combination lock to engage or disengage the peripheral notches of notched rotating discs. When the combination lock is locked, the sliding member is disengaged from the notched rotating discs and forced against the movable plate to bias the movable plate.

    Abstract: A zipper lock includes a combination lock, a pin tumbler lock, a swivel member and two latches. The swivel member is disengaged from the latches for allowing movement of the latches when the combination lock shows the correct permutation. The pin tumbler lock has an actuating block rotatable with the key to move the swivel member away from the latches for allowing movement of the latches so as to enable the pull-tabs of the zipper be inserted into or pulled away from a lock housing of the zipper lock.     Abstract: A complex suitcase lock includes a combination lock and a pin tumbler lock installed in a suitcase to work with two retaining units and two linking units so that the user can selectively use the combination lock or the pin tumbler lock to open the suitcase. When the pin tumbler lock is unlocked, a moveable plate is moved to a first position and disengaged from the linking units for allowing the user to push the retaining units and to further open the suitcase. When the pin tumbler lock is locked, the moveable plate is moved to a second position to hold the retaining units in engagement with hooks of the suitcase, keeping the suitcase locked.
